Attorney Michael Papuc Defends H-1B Visa Holders

● Attorney Michael Papuc of California practices employment and consumer law. In the past, Papuc has taken on cases to protect the rights of employees who hold H-1B visas.

● These employees are allowed in the United States as long as they’re employed in a high demand field. However, some companies attempt to exploit the employees' status as foreign nationals in order to trap them into illegal employment agreements.

● The Judge awarded Papuc’s client court costs, and attorney’s fees, exceeding $200,000.

● Attorney Michael Papuc and his client offered to settle and to stop seeking damages if Compubahn would simply allow the employee to take the job that he had been offered, but the company refused to settle and lost in court and again on appeal.
