Campsite Gweryd Lakes offers a traditional campsite with 30 pitches – 5 with 5 amp hook up capable of running lights and fridges. The pitches are divided between two areas beside Llyn Gweryd and Llyn Ewan. All the pitches are well spaced and have beautiful views. There is space for up to 5 motor homes. There are both standard and solar heated showers, toilets, wash up and laundry facilities. Fresh water points are located around the site.

Value Accommodation is offered via: Bivvy Huts - Two huts sited beside Llyn Gweryd providing simple bunkhouse accommodation in a basic wooden building, warm and dry with two single beds, table, chairs and electric light in each. A toilet block is close by. These wooden huts have planning permission to be converted into stone buildings.

The Fisheries & Lakes Gweryd Lakes is a well-known and established fishery of more than 20yrs. It provides great Carp and specimen coarse fishing in an exceptionally beautiful location. It has a wide and extensive catchment population area covering North Wales, Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire and Cheshire with repeat day and 24 hour loyal customers . It now also offers trout fishing to both fly and bait anglers. There are two coarse lakes and two trout pools set within the estate all if which benefit from constant water flow keeping them naturally aerated and flushed. Each lake has a controllable outflow valve system so that the levels maybe dropped to allow management and maintenance work.

The Lakes

Llyn Gweryd (5.2 Ha/12 ½ Acres) is an idyllically set natural spring fed lake with a good reputation. It is a gem of a specimen lake for both day and 24 hour fishing, holding extensive high quality naturally replenishing fish stocks of carp (ghost, common and mirror averaging 13lb) to 26lbs tench and bream to 10lbs, perch to 5llbs, roach and creucians to 3llbs and silver fish. It is easily accessible with 3 car parks, 40 well-spaced pegs (including pegs for disabled anglers) and toilets.

Llyn Ewan (0.75 Ha/1 ¾ acres15 pegs) is a stream fed, well stocked lake. Often fished by the visitors in the static caravans, it provides great pleasure fishing and is easily accessible. It is suitable for both day and 24 hour fishing and has similar species to Llyn Gweryd though smaller.

Llyn Louis is a bait and fly pool kept stocked with rainbow trout ranging in weight from 1-2lbs. This pool is fun for all the family. It also has easily accessible disabled pegs. Both this and Annie’s pool have been used successfully for fish rearing in the past

Annie’s Pool is a deep pool presently offered as fly only stocked with rainbow trout ranging in weight from 1 to 5lbs.
