    The first step towards obtaining the title of MD is that students must complete 4

    years of undergraduate school, the second step is that during the second year of

    med school, students take the first portion of the United States Medical Licensing

    Examination and during fourth year of medical school is when the second licensing

    test is issued. The test is administrated by National Board of Medical Examiners.

    The Last step is that they must go through at least 3 years of internship.

    Interest Growing up in India, it became a dream for me to become a doctor by watching all

    those malnourished children not being able to care for themselves since they were

    poor.

    Physician Assistants are required to complete an accredited, formal education program

    and pass a national exam to obtain a license .

    Physician Assistant must pass the National Certifying Examination, administered by the

    open to graduates of accredited PA education programs.

    Only then , those who have successfully passed the examination may use the credential

    Physician Assistant-Certified. However, To remain certified, PAs must complete 100

    hours of continuing medical education every 2 years and a recertification every six years

    through examination.

    Interest I have always been interested in a job that enabled me to being where

    I could help people take care of themselves. I think this job offers me

    that chance and at the same time it is a major with those subjects I

    share a passion for Math and Science.
