The Department participated in the conference RDET-2K17. Many students and faculty

members presented their paper. Mr. Ashwani Kumar received third prize in declamation

contest whose theme was ‘Role of modern education is not to cut down jungles but to irri-

gate deserts’, on the occasion of teacher’s day, (5th September 2017). Many students are

participating in a forthcoming quiz competition which is being organized in GVM Girls

College; we wish our students all the best for this contest.

Students of first year went for industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. ,Rai on Sep-

tember 15,2017.The speaker made the children aware of the benefits of Yakult as a probiotic

drink.

Engineering and Technology for Students, Researchers and Academicians on 16.09.2017 with

ISBN 978-93-5281-580-7 at HCE. Dr. Amit Kumar college of Information Science &

Technology, Nanjing university China has graced the conference as chief guest. Dr. Sanju

Saini, AP (EE) DCRUST Murthal delivered the innovative talk on the topic “Evolution of

Algorithms”. Prof. (Dr.) K. K .Saini was the conference coordinator and Mrs. Kiran Narang ,

HOD(CSE/IT) was the conference coordinator.

Consumer Outreach Programme By TRAI

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) organized Customer Out-

reach Programme/Interactive Session on 14th September, 2017. The motive

of the session was to create awareness among Telecommunication Con-

sumers and Stakeholders. The session was inaugurated by Mrs. Bhavana

Sharma, Advisor, Regional Office, Jaipur. Mr. Manish Lodha, Joint Advi-

sor, Regional Office, Jaipur explained the goals and objectives of the pro-

gramme:

Transparency in decision-making by affording an opportunity to all

stakeholders.

Providing consumer with adequate choice, affordable tariffs and

high QOS.

Access to world class quality telecommunications, broadcasting and

cable services.

Promoting efficiency in operations in all the levels of the industry.

Ensuring technical compatibility and effective interconnection be-

tween service providers.

Mr. Amit, Regional Office, Jaipur delivered the speech which was primar-

ily intended to outreach to the customers, industry bodies, State Govt.,

various government bodies, CAGs and TSPs.

Teacher's Day is celebrated on the 5th of September in India. Teacher's Day is marked in honor of Dr

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was born on September 5, 1888. According to Dr. Radhakrishnan, “teachers

should be the best minds in the country”. On this occasion HCE organizes a declamation contest on the topic

“The task of Modern Educators is not to cut down the trees but to irrigate dessert” for staff. There is a poem

compition for the students also.
