Course Objective
There are many speculations about Smart Cities Development in India after the roll out of Smart Cities Mission for making 100 smart cities by the Central Government. Adopting the concept of smart cities from already developed foreign smart cities would be helpful but emphasis should be given on independent thinking to develop strategy as per Indian situation. The course objective is to orient the policy makers and ULB ofcials for smart city concept, theory, technologies, best practice around the world, and challenges in Indian context.
