ESWL Machine:

1. Should be. latest generation, state of the art model, with Electro Magnetic technology:(C)

2. The Shock head should have a penetration depth of 150mm or more.(C)

3. Shock wave head should have facility for variable energy level for facilitating low energy treaitments for pediatric patients and high energy treatments for hard stories.(C)

4. Shock wave head should have a flexible motorized therapy head to enable under and over table treatments and should have facility of multiple therapy window angles.(C)

5. Should have Integrated lsocentric fluoroscopy and lnline/Outline ultrasound system with Ultrasound probe. (C)

[A] Required Specifications

(1) Color Doppler Ultrasound Machine

a

The equipment must be capable of operating in B, M, Doppler, flow and power Doppler modes. It must support transducer with linear, sector and convex formats . further, it must include a full array of measurement and calculation packages. The specific minimum requirements for this equipment are as follow.

(2) Sonographic probes:

a Multi frequency convex probe – Operating frequency 2 to 5 MHz

b Multi frequency linear probe – Operating frequency 6 to 11 MHz

c Transvaginal probe – operating frequency 6 to 9 MHz

(3) 17" or more LCD Monitor on articulating arm with tilt and rotate movements independent of console the system must have three active universal probe ports in a convenient easy to access location to maximize the availability of needed probes.

(4) System shall have image management features that store images by patient and include the ability to review images from different exam dates

(5) System shall support the the ability to store digital raw data that allows to optimize imaging

(6) Parameters such as B Gain, TGC, Color Gain, Dynamic Range, speckle Reduction

(7) Levels, Doppler Gain, Doppler Base line on image recalled from the image archive.

(8) System shall allow for live image and archive images side-by-side or quad display on single monitor. This display shall allow any type of image-B-mode, color, or power Doppler on either side.

(9) The system shall allow for post-storage image manipulation to provide maximum image flexibility, review and productivity. It shall include, at a minimum the ability to change the following:

(11) Overall Doppler gain, base line shift, sweep speed and inverted spectral waveform.

(12) The system shall provide a display zoom function on frozen images

(13) The system shall display thumbnails on a clipboard while scanning to facilitate exams

The system shall possess the ability to control speckle through the use of a speckle reduction (SRI) algorithm that enhances borders, reduces speckle artifact and improves detail and contract resolution in gray scale with compatibility in color mode. This feature shall have operator selectable settings and be capable of diplaying in side-by-side mode with non-speckle reduced image.

(16) The system shall provide the ability to scan in the compound imaging mode with multiple lines on all linear and convex probes

(17) The system shall proive scan depth from a minimum of 2 cm to at least 30 cm

(18) System should have integrated internal total hard disk of 500GB

(19) system should have minimum 70,000 processing channels

(20) Anatomical M-Mode imaging

a) The system shall have a facility allowing the M-Mode cursor to be adjustable in any plane and allow for accurate measurements. The M-Mode shall be reconstructed from earlier stored B mode cine loop.

(21) Spectral Doppler (PW)

a) Doppler mode shall be available on all probes

b) The system shall provide the user with control during timeline replay to review the spectrum only (i.e, frozen B-Mode) or with the spectrum and B-mode together and synchronized.

c) The system shall provide the user with the ability to add a spectral peak and spectral mean trace onto the spectrum in both real or after freezing the image.
