Among all the subjects brought into the class, the one that get the most of my attention was about the Polish Poster, mostly, because of the approach that has been given to the subject – instead of just a graphic analysis, was presented to was a land-scape (mostly political), of the scenario in which these posters were conceived and spread. Beside of allow us an immersion on the creative process,

and on the factors that were used to create and unique look on the Polish Posters, the text and, mostly, the documentary, show on a short way the importance of the historical context on the result presented to us, and allowing the understanding of topics that on the rst view could be misleading, like, for ex-ample, the choice of the artists on the period that Socialism ruledruled their country, specially on the creative liberty of the movie posters; over the strong impression that maybe most of us had, that those times were unfortunate to all of then. Only the immersion on that scenario could guarantee the

complete understanding of the fact that precisely the Capital-ism – ant its consequent globalization – could have so much inuence on the movie posters universe, and so, how come the artist refusal, Tomaszewski primarily, in get close of what was being developed on the capitalist world, what open the doors to the creation of singles and relevant posters, to art and desidesign history.
