Guidelines for online registration of ABRSM Practical Exam

Online registration of ABRSM Exam is simple and easy: 1. Enter applicant’s and candidate’s information 2. Upload image file of candidate identification document, and certificate/mark form (if required) 3. Pay the examination fee by credit card or PPS by Internet You can use a scanner or digital camera to produce the image file. Please note: the file size should not exceed 1MB, if the size is too large, please lower the resolution of the scanner or digital camera.

IMPORTANT!! If you pay the exam fee by credit card, you need to enter the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode password. If you don’t have the password, you can apply it through the card issuing bank website.

The Authority cannot accept any responsibilities for unsuccessful online registration because of technical or payment failure. Online registration method is not available for Diploma or Ensembles exams, and candidates using re-entry voucher.

Make sure the files and documents are ready and choose “Yes”.

If you use “pre-filled candidate information” function, choose “Yes”. 1. Upload the file. 2. Click “Next Page”. If you don’t use this function, choose “No”. Click “Next Page”.

If you have difficulties in uploading the file(s), please call 8107 0068 for assistance.

Upload the digital image file of the candidate’s identity document; certificate/mark form (if required); doctor’s certificate (if required). Click “Browse” to find out where the image file is stored in your computer, then click “Upload”. If you only apply for one candidate, click “Continue and Review” when you have uploaded the required file.

Check the information of candidate. Click “Confirm, Submit Form and Go to Make Payment”.

Make sure the information of applicant you entered is correct. Click “Continue and Review candidate info”.

Select payment method and click “Pay It Now”.

Please write down the Reference Number.

6 Payment of Exam Fee

If you choose to pay by Credit Card, you will see this page. 1. Choose the type of credit card. 2. Enter the Card Number and Expiry Date. 3. Click “Pay Now!”

If you choose to pay by PPS, you will see this page. Please click “Continue”.

1. Enter Account Number and PPS Internet Password. 2. Check the box “I have read and hereby accept the PPS Service General Terms and Conditions of Use.” 3. Click “Submit”.

When the payment of examination fee is successful, you will see the acknowledgement page. Please click “Complete and return to First Page of the Registration” or “Print” If you have entered your email address, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you.

7 Confirmation of Application

You can check your application status by using the “Online Registration Payment Status Enquiry” function at the main page.

Enter the Reference Number, and click “Submit Enquiry”. If “Payment Settled” is shown, your application is successful. This is the end of the online registration procedure. If you have enquiries on technical matters, please call 8107 0068.
