F F G ( X )• U.S. Tough: Producing a great ship by ensuring it is designed to best support our Sailors providing the foundation for all

Combat Systems requirements today, with margin and adaptability for future needs.

• Demonstrated Innovation: Parent design operating in Allied Navies with more than five years of fleet operations. Human Factors approach ensures optimized operational efficiency at every watchstation.

• Condition Based Maintenance: The Sailors’ workload is reduced by 50% through our FFG(X) design that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to support condition based maintenance. This reduces unnecessary maintenance and provides the crew a real-time understanding of maintenance needs and materiel conditions. This also increases Operational Availability (Ao).

• Safety: Bridge is designed using human factors to improve situational awareness and watch stander performance.

• Habitability: Enhanced accommodations increases quality of life, comfort, and rest; which contributes to the crew’s operational effectiveness. Our design replaces outdated 30+ person bunkrooms with staterooms of no more than six Sailors, and each stateroom has its own toilet and sink.

• Flexible Hybrid Engineering: Provides energy efficient diesel power generation for propulsion at normal steaming speeds while contributing greatly to anti-submarine capability in an extremely quiet diesel-electric configuration.

FFG(X), the U.S. Navy’s guided missile frigate, represents the most capable and modern frigate in the world. It delivers needed capabilities with enhanced lethality, survivability, safety, maintainability, habitability, and cybersecurity.

Fincantieri Marinette Marine is leveraging the proven parent design of the FREMM to meet and exceed U.S. Navy standards using the best materials available in the U.S.—built in the Midwest by America’s best shipbuilders.

OUR SHIPYARDS• Serve government customers,

including the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. Three shipyards: Fincantieri Marinette Marine, Fincantieri ACE Marine, and Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding are located in the Great Lakes Region.

• These three Fincantieri Marine Group facilities work collaboratively in assembly-line manufacturing, with the demonstrated ability to deliver large, complex vessels in serial production.

• A centralized leadership and engineering concept enables a System of Yards approach. The result is reduced costs, shared workload, and the transfer of best practices from Fincantieri shipyards worldwide.

• Three yards, each with specialized capabilities, provide the ability to build naval vessels to military specifications, commercial vessels to ABS Class Standards, and everything in between.

Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding • Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin

Fincantieri Marinette Marine • Marinette, Wisconsin

Fincantieri ACE Marine • Green Bay, Wisconsin
