From8November2010IRTreferencesaremandatoryintheAPNICWhoisDatabase.Thismeansan'irt'

objectreferencewillbemandatorywhenany'inetnum','inet6um'and'aut-num'objectsareupdatedor

createdintheAPNICWhoisDatabase.

BeforeyoucancreateanIRTobjectyouneedto:

•  Prepareyourown‘Networkabuseemailcontact’andprocesses,or

•  FindanupstreamISPwillingtobethecontactforabusereportsrelatedtoyournetwork

CreateanIRTObject

From8November2010,whenyoulogintoMyAPNIC,youwillbedirectedtocreatetheIRTobject

[Resources->IRTs].Apartiallypre-filledtemplatewillappearusingyourregisteredinformation.Seethe

examplebelow:

NOTE:

•  Youcanmakechangestothetemplateabove;forexample,youcanchangethe

addressdetails.ThisobjectwillbeviewableinAPNICWhoisDatabase.

•  Youcannavigateawayfromthispagebyclickingonanyofthetabbars,for

example,Home.

1.TocreateadditionalIRTobjectsforyourAPNICaccount,goto Resources->IRTandclickon ‘Create

newIRTobject’.

Onceyouhavecreatedanewobject,thescreenbelowwillappear.

2.Placetheabuseemailcontactaddressinthe ‘Networkabuseemail’ fieldasseenbelow:
