It is American which is reflected in its spelling and terminology (eg.  Aluminum for Aluminium). Inspec http://search.epnet.com This covers a wide range of international journals and conferences including mobile vehicle communication systems and automotive electrical and electronic systems. SAE Technical Papers This provides access to full text SAE Technical Papers that have been presented at SAE meetings. This includes for example, Automotive Dynamics and Stability and Controls, Commercial Vehicle Engineering, Motorsports Engineering Conference, Powertrain and Fluid Systems Conference, Small Engine Technology. IngentaSelect http://www.ingentaselect.com This contains abstracts from 750,000 articles in over 2,500 journals. Full text articles are available only from journals to which we subscribe. ScienceDirect htt p:/ /www.sciencedirect.com This is a full text database which provides access to over 1,000 Elsevier Science  journal s. It covers scienti fic, techni cal (inclu ding engineer ing) and medical researc h titles. Electronic Journals Service (EJS) http://ejournals.ebsco.com EJS lets you find journals by words contained in the title, the word starting the title and exact title match. It is possible to search for a subject in the title, title and abstract or the title, abstract and full text of all the electronic journals that the library subscribes to. It is  Athens authenticated and a vailable on and off campus. Edinburgh Engineering Virtual Library http://www.eevl.ac.uk EEVL covers 10,000 quality engineering, mathematics and computing web sites and also provides a search engine to over 200 engineering e-journal sites. It also provides access to the Recent Advances in Manufacturing database which is a bibliographic database for manufacturing and related area’s. The database indexes over 500 journals from 1990 onwards.
