New Zealand’s history began as an island that has been founded to home Polynesian settlers, reflecting Maori and European Heritage, and is known as the youngest country on Earth. Also between the two islands, there is a great climate change, making it perfect for particular movies.

rafting, swimming with dolphins, and helicopter rides and many more.
Boat Racing Every year in Tauranga they have annual boat races. The races are called Hydroplane Races. The drivers can reach and excess of 160 mph. The winner of the race gets a trophy. Teams come from around the world to these events.
Culture They have many different ethnic groups. The main religion is Christianity. There are other religions like Pentecostal, Methodist, and Presbyterian.

History The history of Aucland stretches from early Maori settlers in 14th century to first European explorers in 18th century. Auckland grew fairly rapidly, from 1,500 in 1841 to 12,423 by 1864. In the 19th century Auckland’s urban growth concentrated around the port in a similar manner to most other mercantile cities. It lies between the Hauraki Gulf of the Pacific Ocean to the east, the low Hunura Ranges to the southeast, the Manukau Harbour to the southwest, and the Waitakere Ranges and smaller ranges to the west and northwest. It is one of the few cities in the world to have harbours on two separate major bodies of water.

known as Tamaki-Makau-Rau - ‘the maiden with a hundred suitors’. It was earned this name because it was a region coveted by many tribes. Auckland’s of harbour, islands, Polynesian culture and modern city environment has made a lifestyle ranked with the best in the world. The natural assets of Auckland have made a dream destination for travelers, from doing-it-on-the-cheap backpackers to cost-is-no-issue super yacht owners.
Auckland has 4 major architecture buildings that are known as The Ferry Building, The Auckland Harbour Bridge, Sky Tower, and The Telstraclear. The Ferry Building is also known as the Auckland Ferry Terminal, it was built in 1909-1912 designed by Alex Wiseman. The building costs $16,944, renovated 1986-1988. It is known to be the Transportation Facility with a maximum height of 131 feet/ 40 meters. Than there is the Auckland Harbour Bridge. The bridge was built in 1955-1959 with a length of 3,350 feet/ 1,021 meters. The Sky Tower was built in 1997 with a Maximum Height: 1,076 feet / 328 meters. Lastly the Telstra clear, it is also known as the clear building it was built in 1988-1989, Designed by Warren Mohoney and is an office building. It is 6 stories high and a maximum height of 87 feet/ 27 meters

The culture in Sydney is a mixture of different groups that have came from different nations. A lot of the individual cultures that make up Sydney are the Sydney mosaic center on the cultural, artistic, ethnic, linguistic and religious communities formed by waves of immigration. One of the cultures a lot of the people put their passion into is performing arts. Some of the cultures are Serbs in Liverpool, Jewish in Bondi, Russians in Waverley, Filipino in Blacktown, Polish in Mount Kuring-gai, Italians in Leichhardt, Turkish in Auburn, Vietnamese in Bankstown. Their are a lot of festivals in Sydney like the film festival, the big day out, the performing arts festival, and also their is one that goes for a whole moth which is called the art mouth.

History
Sydney is the state capital of the New South Wales. Inhabitants of Sydney are called Sydneysiders. The first site of the British colony was in Sydney, Australia in 1788 and it was built at Sydney cove. It was established by Arthur Philip.
Sydney is built on hills surrounding Port Jackson which is known as Sydney Harbour. That is where the iconic Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge features prominent.
In 2010 was ranked the 7th in Asia and 28th
globally for economic innovation in the Innovation Cities Top 100 Index by innovation agency. Sydney is also ranked in the top 10 most livable cities in the world.
This is the Opera House in Sydney Australia. It is a multi-venue performing arts center. It was billed by a Danish architect and it was finally built in 1973. It is one of the iconic buildings of the 20th century.

History The Awabakal and the Wormi Aboriginal People who called it Malubimba occupied Newcastle. It was found by an English explorer on accident while searching for convicts that had supposedly gone there. Once discovered dangerous convicts were sent here for digging coalmines. After all the convicts were sent out it started to become a settlement. It was the second European settlement in Australia.
Newcastle has a couple older style buildings, but most of this city is highly modernized. Churches have tall stain glassed windows with marble floors, and beautiful murals on the walls.

The elected system was introduced to Nadi in 1967. Dr. A. H. Sahu Khan was the first elected Chairman of the Nadi Township Board.
Vijay Singh is a professional golfer from Fiji. He has won the Masters in 2000 and the PGA Championships in 1998 and 2004. He was also put in the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2005.
Fiji is a male-dominated society with a hereditary chief system still in place. With the different peoples together there is a variety of traditions from Diwali (Indian Festival of Light) to Christmas. The Beqa people still take part in the ancient art of firewalking, which can be seen by tourists today.

Sports Teams Though there are many sports in Fiji the national league rugby team, nicknamed Bati, stands out from the rest. After years of players from Fiji traveling to other countries teams to play they created their own team in1992 and have been playing in the league since.
One attraction that is a must to see is The Gardens of the Sleeping Giant. Just a ten-mile drive north of Nadi, the gardens are filled with exotic native plants and also some introduced plants. The gardens are full of more than two thousand different kinds of orchids and for just a small fee of ten dollars you can wander through the 20 acres of land.
There are many Hindus that live in Nadi therefore the architecture is greatly influenced by that. The Sri Siva Subramaniya temple is a Hindu temple in Fiji. It is the largest temple in the Southern Hemisphere and brings many tourists to see its great beauty.

History Aborigines
The Aborigines were the first group on indigenous people living in Australian, they are believed to have arrive around 60,000 years ago. This group set up a hunter-gatherer lifestyle with many spiritual and artistic traditions. Approximately 40-80 thousand Aborigines lived in the Sydney area before the British sailors
After European Influence Sydney was established in 1788 by Arthur Phillip, he came to the area on the first fleet of the penal colony. The city is built on his surrounding Port Jackson, more commonly known as Sydney Harbor. The city has grown to be the largest city in Australia with a population of 4,575,532. The metropolitan area is divided into Local Government Areas These areas have elected councils that are responsible for functions delegated to them. Sydney has some of Australia’s most prominent schools and has
grown to be an extremely wealthy town
Architecture Georgian Style(1788-1820) This type of architecture was
used when Brittan would send there convicts to Australia, the buildings were poorly constructed local amature builders constructed these buildings with sutable materials found around them
Victorian(1850) This type of architecture was designed
around the ideas of respectibilty, formality, and materialism. This style came when people of the middle class wanted new houses suited for their new wealth. People who built these buildings were more concerned with the style than the function of the building in relation to the area it was in.
Modern Architects were influenced by European
Internationalism and applied it to the topography and climate of Sydney. With their new modern style Sydney lifted height restrictions and began their change to becoming a high-rise city.

Architecture Wellington has a variety of
architecture styles such as wooden
cottages, steel made structures, and
post-modern architecture. Some of
the many beautiful architectures in
Wellington are the Bucket fountain, the Aro park,
the Beehive which is Welligtons parlament building
named beehive because of its shape, and the Majestic
Center the tallest building in Wellington.
Culture
Film Filmmaking in a suburb called Miramar in Wellington
is becoming one of the world’s most acclaimed film
making structure named “Wellywood”. Films that
have been shot here include the Lord of The Rings
Trilogy, King Kong, and Avatar. Many movies are
filmed here because its bay area, architecture, and hills.
Sports Wellington is home to the Hurricanes,
which is a Super Rugby team. Also the Wellington Lions
which is a ruby team in Wellington and won the IMT
cup. Wellington Phoenix is a football (soccer) team and is
the only fully professional football club in New Zealand.
Wellington also is home to the Wellington Firebirds a
cricket team and the Wellington Saints a basketball team.
Wellington has become home to many high-profile events and cultural celebrations, including the biennial New Zealand International Arts Festival, and biennial Wellington Jazz Festival. Restaurants and foods in Wellington have a variety of cuisines, including from Europe, Asia and Polynesia. Dishes in wellington include lamb, pork, and a variety of seafood and shellfish. Wellington is also known for its many beautiful arts and art museums such as the National Art Gallery of New Zealand.

History of Suva Fiji has been inhabited since the second millennium and was
first explored by the Dutch and British in the 17th and 18th centuries. Suva Fiji was proclaimed Fiji’s first city in 1952.
Initially the town was composed of just one square mile, but was then expanded to 13 square kilometers. In July of 1998 a
new constitution was set in place for Fiji, which raised the prospect for a coalition government, unlike the old constitution,
which gave ethnic Fijians dominance. In 1999, First ethnic Prime Minister, Mahendra Chaudhry took office and he now
resides in Suva, Fiji.

This area has almost a perfect climate all
year round. It is a warm moist, almost
tropical climate. The average temperature
for a summer day is 70 – 75 degrees. The
average temperature for a winter day is 55-
60 degrees.
Rich Soil
New Plymouth has rich, volcanic soil. Due to
this fact the city is well known for its gardens.
One such garden is Pukekura Park. This park
also holds the Festival of Lights every year
from mid-December to early February.
Flying
Although driving is plenty of fun, New Plymouth
has the 11th busiest airport in New Zealand. It has
flights going to Wellington, Christchurch, and
Auckland. It is also located on the coast.
Mountains and beaches If one ever gets bored of the sandy warm beaches, they
could just drive 20 to 40 minutes to Mount
Taranki/Egmont. This mountain provides many
activities such as snowboarding, skiing, sledding, and
climbing.

An initiative taken in the 1930’s, 40’s, and 50’s caused the building of state houses. This tradition is still in effect today despite often subdivisions. Sydney Opera House Sydney is most famous for its opera house. The Opera house is very close to the Harbor Bridge, which is also a large part of the tourism in Australia.

Sports are a very important part of
Australia’s culture. Rugby is the most
important sport in Australia. The NRL
(National Rugby League) was first created
in 1908. Of the 16 teams that make up the
league, Sydney is home to 9 of them.
Another important sport in Australia is
cricket, which is very popular, especially
during summer.
Sydney’s Architecture Sydney has a very diverse style of architecture, and it is easily visable throughout the entire city. The first styles of buildings built in Sydney were mostly Georgian. Next, Sydney moved into a more neo-Gothic, Victoria style. And now currently, the architecture is very modern, with many buildings being built with less materials, and also with very unique appearances.
Sydney has a very temperate climate with warm summers, and mild winters. The warmest months are in January and February, while the coolest is July. Rainfall is spread fairly even throughout the entire year, but the first half of the year receives slightly more rainfall.
