UN ÉVÉNEMENT INÉDIT : LE MUSÉE UNTERLINDEN S’EXPOSE AUX DOMINICAINS JUSQU’AU 18 OCTOBRE 2015 Aux Dominicains de Colmar un événement inédit présente le Retable d’Issenheim de Grünewald et de Nicolas de Haguenau (1512 – 1516) aux côtés de la Vierge au buisson de roses (1473), chef-d’œuvre de Mar-tin Schongauer. Ainsi, l’ensemble de l’œuvre peinte de Martin Schongauer, conservé à Colmar, est exposé dans un seul lieu (le Retable d’Orlier, le Retable des Dominicains). Deux panneaux peints de Lucas Cranach l’Ancien (La Mélancolie et La Crucifixion), des sculptures de la fin du Moyen Âge et des objets d’orfèvrerie (le Trésor des Trois Epis) complètent la présentation. Enfin, deux œuvres d'art moderne offrent le regard de deux artistes du XXe siècle sur un thème lié au sacré : le Voile de Véronique de Manessier et la Tête de Christ d'Otto Dix.

BIS ZUM 18. OKTOBER 2015, EINE ADRESSE : DAS UNTERLINDEN MUSEUM IN DER DOMINIKANERKIRCHEBis den 18. Oktober 2015 ist der Isenheimer Altar in der nur 200 m vom Museum entfernten Dominika-nerkirche ausgestellt, zu sehen. Damit bietet sich die einmalige Gelegenheit, den Altar und sämtliche in Colmar aufbewahrte Werke des Colmarer Meisters Martin Schongauer gemeinsam zu zeigen: den Orlier-Altar (1470-1475), den Dominikaner-Altar (um 1480) und die Maria im Rosenhag (1473). Ein der hl. Katharina und dem hl. Laurentius geweihter Altar (um 1510), Gemälde Von Lucas Cranach, Skulpturen aus dem späten Mittelalter und eine spektakuläre Goldschmiedearbeiten (Der Schatz von Trois-Épis) vervollständigen die Präsentation.

A UNIQUE EVENT : CELEBRATED WORKS FROM THE MUSÉE UNTERLINDEN’S COLLECTIONS ARE ON VIEW AT THE DOMINICAN CHURCH UNTIL 18 OCTOBER 2015At the Dominican church in Colmar, a unique event presents Grünewald and Nicolas de Haguenau’s Isenheim Altarpiece (1512–1516) alongside Martin Schongauer’s masterpiece The Madonna of the Rose Bower (1473). Furthermore, the painted works by Martin Schongauer held in Colmar at a single venue, the Orlier Altarpiece and the Altarpiece of the Dominicans (c. 1480) are also exhibited at the Dominican church during this period. Two painted panels by Lucas Cranach the Elder (Melancholy and The Crucifixion), sculptures from the Late Middle Ages and works in silver and gold (including the famous grouping known as the Trésor des Trois-Epis) round out the presentation. More than a simple place of exhibitions, the Toy Museum is a magic frame in which you will dis-cover a unique, varied and livened up collection. LE CRÉATEUR DE L’ILLUSTRE STATUE DE LA LIBERTÉ DE NEW YORK EST COLMARIEN !Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi né le 2 août 1834, au numéro 30 de la Rue des Marchands, où il vécu jusqu’à l’âge de deux ans. N’hésitez pas à vous balader à la recherche de ses nombreuses œuvres, sur les places et dans les jardins colmariens (Place de l’Ancienne Douane, Place des Six Montagnes Noires, Parc du Champs de Mars, Chapelle Saint Pierre, Marché couvert...). En 1907, la veuve de Bartholdi lègue la de-meure natale à la Ville de Colmar qui aménage ce vaste hôtel particulier du XVIIIe siècle en musée. Vous y découvrirez statues, bustes, dessins et peintures, ainsi que le mobilier familial et souvenirs de l artiste. Au deuxième étage, une salle entière est consacrée à son œuvre majeure : « La Liberté éclairant le Monde », plus connue sous le nom de « Statue de la Liberté ». Des documents uniques permettent de suivre, pas à pas, la genèse d un des monuments les plus célèbres au monde. Bartholdi, est également à l’origine de 35 monuments de par le monde notamment, le Lion de Belfort, Vercingétorix de Clermont-Ferrand, la Fontaine des Terreaux à Lyon, les statues de La Fayette et Washington à New York et Paris… Sa notoriété aura sans doute été paradoxalement éclipsée face au rayonnement de son œuvre majeure.

Vous y comprendrez l’évolution physique de la région depuis l’ère glacière et y découvrirez de nombreux animaux de la faune locale menacée exposés dans une salle recréant l'ambiance des montagnes vosgiennes et de la plaine rhé-nane. Une collection d'invertébrés vous fera rêver de voyages et d'exotisme, tandis que les collections ethnographiques, consacrées aux cultures de l’Egypte Ancienne et de l’Afrique Noire, prolongeront votre voyage dans ce musée pas comme les autres.

Im Gebäude der ehemaligen Turenne-Schule aus dem XVI. Jh. befindet sich das Museum für Na-turwissenschaften- und Völkerkunde (Musée d’Histoire Naturelle et d’Ethnographie). Hier wird die physische Evolution der Gegend von der Eiszeit an verdeutlicht, und Sie werden zahlreiche Tiere der bedrohten lokalen Fauna entdecken. Sie sind in einem Raum ausgestellt, in der die Atmosphäre der Vogesenberge und der Rheinebene nachgestellt ist. In a beautiful 16th Century mansion, formerly a school, you can find the Natural History and Ethnography Museum. The Museum explains the geophysical evolution of the region from the Ice Age and tells you about various endangered local species. The display is set in a room recreating the atmosphere of the Vosges Mountains and the Rhine plain. A collection of invertebrates will make you dream of travelling to exotic lands, as will the ethnographical collections devoted to Ancient Egypt and sub-Saharan Africa in this museum unique in its kind.

HOMMAGE À MAURICE ANDRE, DU 3 AU 14/07/2015Cité par le New-York Times depuis 1994 comme faisant partie des 10 meilleurs festivals en Europe, durant la première quinzaine de juillet, Colmar vibre au son des plus brillants interprètes de la scène classique actuelle et des étoiles montantes. Sous la direction artistique de Vladimir Spivakov, chef et violoniste émérite d’origine russe, le Festival rend chaque année hommage à un musicien, un instrument, un pays ou une culture, fil conducteur d’une riche programmation de trois séries de concerts données dans de hauts lieux du patrimoine colmarien. À 12h30, au Koïfhus et 18h15 en la Chapelle Saint Pierre, récitals et petits ensembles de musique de chambre se succèdent. À 21h, en l’Église Saint Matthieu, place aux concerts symphoniques donnés par de grands orchestres, dirigés par des chefs dont la renommée n’est plus à faire. Jedes Jahr treten hochbegabte Musiker der klassischen Musikszene und aufsteigende Stars auf. Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Vladimir Spivakov, Dirigent und emeritierter russischer Gei- ger, huldigen jedes Jahr die Festspiele einen Musiker, ein Instrument, ein Land oder eine Kultur, Leitungs- draht einer reichen Programmierung von drei Konzertreihen, gegeben in schönen Sälen von Colmar. Um 12Uhr30 im Koïfhus und um 18Uhr15 in der Kapelle Saint Pierre, werden Solo- und Kammermusik Ensemble Konzerte gegeben. Under the artistic direction of Vladimir Spivakov, Russian conductor and violinist emeritus, annually Festival is tribute to a musician, an instrument, a country or culture, main theme of a rich program on three series of concerts given in most beautiful sites of Colmar heritage. At 12:30 and 6:15 pm in Koïfhus and Saint Pierre Chapel, recitals and small ensembles give chamber music concerts. THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS

5 MARCHÉS DE NOËL DU 20 NOVEMBRE AU 31 DECEMBRE 2015Un décor magique et une atmosphère chaleureuse confèrent à Colmar une ambiance à nulle autre pareille. La succession de décors lumineux, créés dans le cadre de la valorisation nocturne du patrimoine, entraîne le promeneur au fil des rues piétonnes à la découverte des 5 marchés de Noël traditionnels. Marchés du terroir, de l’artisanat et des enfants, intimes et conviviaux, ils sont blottis au coeur des places historiques du vieux Colmar et proposent des produits locaux et de l’artisanat. Les maisonnettes en bois des 170 exposants sont minutieusement disposées autour des monuments et places emblématiques pour permettre aux visiteurs de profiter des marchés tout en contemplant l’incroyable patrimoine architectural de la ville. De nombreuses animations attendent les visiteurs : « Colmar chante Noël » et ses concerts dans les Eglises, musées, en extérieur, chorales d’enfants sur des barques illuminées. Mais aussi l’incontournable patinoire de 800 m², les visites guidées de l’Office de Tourisme, les spectacles et expositions, crèches… Sans oublier la boîte aux lettres géante du Père Noël et les caves de Noël en plein centre ville.

5 WEIHNACHTSMÄRKTE, VOM 20. NOVEMBER BIS 31. DEZEMBER 2015Eine zauberhafte Kulisse und eine warme Stimmung verleihen Colmar eine Atmosphäre, die keiner anderen gleich ist. Die verschiedenen leuchtenden Dekors, die im Rahmen der nächtlichen Aufwertung des Kulturerbes geschaffen sind, ziehen die Spaziergänger durch die Fußgängerstraßen zur Entdeckung der 5 traditionellen Weihnachtsmärkte. Vier Märkte für Esswaren und handwerkliche Produkte, und einen für die Kinder, geheim und gesellig, allesamt im Herzen der Altstadt von Colmar eingenistet. Die Markthäuschen der 170 Aussteller sind sorgfältig um die Monumente und die symbolischen Plätze aufgestellt, um den Besuchern die Gelegenheit zu geben, die Weihnachtsmärkte und das unglaubliche architektonische Erbe der Stadt zu betrachten. Zahlreiche Veranstaltungen werden den Besuchern angeboten: «Colmar singt Weihnachten» und seine Konzerte in den Kirchen, in den Museen, im Freien, oder noch Kinderchöre, die auf beleuchteten Booten im Viertel Klein Venedig singen. Aber auch die unumgängliche 800m² Eisbahn, die Stadtführungen des FremdenTourismus-Büroes, die Veranstaltungen & und die Vorstellungen, wie zum Beispiel die Krippen… Ohne den riesigen Briefkasten des Weihnachtsmannes zu vergessen und einen Weihnachtskeller Besuch..

The succession of lighted decorations created for the promotion of heritage in the night, takes the stroller through the pedes-trianstreets to discover the 5 traditional Christmas markets. One dedicated to terroir, another to crafts or children, intimate and friendly, markets are nestled in the heart of historic places of the old Colmar and offer local produce and crafts. The wooden houses of 170 exhibitors are carefully arranged around the monuments and iconic places so that visitors enjoy the markets while contemplating the incredible architectural heritage of the city. Many animations await you : «Colmar sings Christmas» and his concerts in churches, museums or outdoor, children’s choir on illuminated boats.
