Este 2010 la carpa Vodafone tendrá una potente programación que transcurrirá paralela al resto del festival. En ella se pueden ver a algunas de las mejores bandas emergentes de Euskadi y a DJs residentes de las mejores salas y clubs de Bilbao, Madrid y Barcelona. Con esta programación Vodafone y el Bilbao BBK Live pretenden dar una oportunidad a algunas de las mejores bandas del nuevo rock vasco y crear un nuevo escenario con propuestas más desconocidas que estamos seguros van a sorprender a más de uno.

This 2010 the Vodafone tent will offer a strong program that will take place in paralell to the rest of the festival. Some of the best emergent bands from the Basque Country will be playing there with resident DJs from the best venues and clubs from Billbao, Madrid and Barcelona. Vodafone and the Bilbao BBK Live want to give with this program an opportunity to some of the best new Basque rock bands and create a new stage paralell to the festival with more unknown proposals we are sure many people will be amazed with.

MANUAL DE USO ¿CUÁNDO SE ABRE LA ZONA DE ACAMPADA? La zona de acampada se abrirá el miércoles 7 de julio a las 18:00h y permanecerá abier ta hasta el domingo 11 de julio a las 14:00h. El derecho de acampada se adquiere con la compra de cualquiera de las entradas del Bilbao BBK Live, pudiendo acampar en cualquier momento entre las fechas señaladas. En la zona de acampada se puede introducir tanto comida como bebida. En el recinto del festival no se puede meter ni comida ni bebida. El aforo de esta zona de acampada es limitado. ¿A QUÉ HORA SE ABREN LAS PUERTAS? La aper tura de puer tas del recinto del festival será a las 16:00h. tanto el día 8 como el 9 y el 10 de julio. TAQUILLAS BILBAO BBK LIVE’10 El Bilbao BBK Live’10 dispondrá de taquillas en el propio recinto, que servirán tanto para comprar entradas, como para recoger invitaciones, acreditaciones o las entradas pendientes de impresión de BBK (Internet, tfno). Aunque lo mejor es recoger estas entradas compradas por Internet o teléfno en los cajeros multiser-vicio de BBK. LOS HORARIOS DE LAS TAQUILLAS SERÁN LOS SIGUIENTES: jueves 8 de 12:00h a 1:00h; viernes 9 de 13:00h a 1:00h; sábado 10 de 14:00h a 1:00h. BONOS Y PULSERAS Aquellos que posean bonos de 3 días deberán cambiar su entrada por una pulsera que le permita entrar y salir del recinto del festival a lo largo de los 3 días de festival. Asegúrate de que la pulsera está bien puesta, ya que desde el momento en que te cambien la entrada por la pulsera esta última será tu acceso a los concier tos. Si se te rompe o se te pierde la pulsera no podrás volver a entrar. Los bonos de 3 días son perso-nales e intransferibles. Las entradas de día no llevan pulsera, por lo que, una vez dentro del recinto, si sales no podrás volver a entrar. El horario de recogida de pulseras es el siguiente: jueves 8 de 12:00h a 1:00h y viernes 9 de 13:00h a 1:00h. ACREDITACIONES E INVITACIONES Las pulseras y acreditaciones de invitados y prensa se podrán recoger únicamente en la caseta de acreditaciones situada en la entrada del recinto. Los horarios para recoger las acreditaciones e invitaciones son los siguientes: jueves 8 de 12:00h a 1:00h; viernes 9 de 13:00h a 1:00h; sábado 10 de 14:00h a 1:00h. ZONA MINUSVÁLI-DOS En ambos escenarios principales, en los laterales a la altura de las mesas de sonido, habrá una zona elevada para que los asistentes con problemas de movilidad puedan ver las actuaciones. Asimismo, habrá autobuses habilitados para minusválidos. COMIDA Y BEBIDA En diferentes localizaciones del recinto encontrarás barras en las que podrás adquirir agua mineral, cerveza, bebidas energéticas, bocadillos, sandwiches,… EN EL RECINTO DEL FESTIVAL NO SE PUEDE INTRODUCIR NI COMIDA NI BEBIDA. Para comprar comida y la bebida necesitarás haber adquirido antes los correspondientes tickets en las distintas cajas repar tidas por todo el recinto. Te sugerimos que no esperes a la hora punta para comprar tus tickets; sé previsor y cambialos al entrar en el recinto, te evitarás muchas colas. OBJETOS PELIGROSOS Está prohibido entrar al Bilbao BBK Live con objetos punzantes, de cristal, metálicos, arrojadizos, inflamables o contundentes, lo cual incluye comida y bebida en envases de vidrio y/o latas. En la entrada se realizará un control por la seguridad de todos. Por favor, colabora con nosotros y vente ligero al Bilbao BBK Live. CONSERVACIÓN DE LA ZONA El Bilbao BBK Live cuenta con una ubicación privilegiada: Kobetamendi. El festival está emplazado en el parque situado en el alto de Kobetas, desde donde se disfruta de una magnífica panorámica de la ciudad de Bilbao. La limpieza y conservación de este espacio natural es uno de nuestros principales objetivos y esperamos que el tuyo también. Además de las papeleras de la zona, habrá contenedores distribuidos por todo el recinto. Por favor, utilízalos. Las barras instaladas por todo el recinto servirán la bebida, únicamente, en vasos de plástico que son fácilmente reciclables. WC’S Habrá servicios químicos distri-buidos por todo el recinto. Recuerda que todos haremos uso de ellos, por lo que intenta

dejar el servicio tal y como te gustaría encontrarlo. SERVICIOS MÉDICOS Hay una zona en la entrada de Bilbao BBK Live destinada a los Servicios Médicos, equipada con médicos, ATS, ambulancias, hospital de emergencia… Si te sientes mal, o has tenido o presenciado algún tipo de accidente, acude allí y solicita que te asistan de inmediato. Asimismo, habrá una representación de protección civil, bomberos y policía local. MERCHANDISING OFICIAL Habrá un punto de venta de merchandising oficial del Bilbao BBK Live, donde además en-contrarás material de todos los grupos que actúan en el festival. MERCADILLO En el interior del recinto se encuentra un mercadillo en el que se podrán adquirir todo tipo de ar tículos, desde ropa hasta música. OTROS CONSEJOS • No olvides traer tu documentación. • Si bebes, ya sabes, no conduzcas. Habrá controles de alcoholemia en los alrededores del festival. • Trae una gorra y tu protector solar, sobre todo para las primeras actuaciones. • Bebe mucha agua para evitar deshidratar te. • Hará calor, por lo que ven con ropa y calzado cómodos. • Está prohibido entrar al Bilbao BBK Live con grabadoras de audio, de video y/o cámaras fotográficas profesionales (con reflex o teleobjetivo). Únicamente las cámaras domésticas están permitidas, pero sin flash. • Por motivos de seguridad, no existe un servicio de consigna en Bilbao BBK Live, por lo que te aconsejamos no traigas nada que no esté permitido o no necesites. METRO BILBAO PERMANECERÁ ABIERTO DURANTE LAS NOCHES DEL BILBAO BBK LIVE’10 Metro Bilbao ha puesto en marcha el servicio nocturno de verano y permanecerá abier to todas las noches de fin de semana hasta el último fin de semana de septiembre. Se estima que cerca de 15.000 personas usen el servicio nocturno cada día del festival. PARKING El parking del Bilbao BBK Live’10 estará situado en el BEC! de Barakaldo en las plantas -2 y -3, con un total de 2.700 pla-zas de aparcamiento cubier to y vigilado. Cada vez que se entre al parking se pagarán 7 euros. Saldrán autobuses gratuitos desde la parada de metro del BEC! hasta el recinto del festival. AUTOBUSES GRATUITOS Los autobuses gratuitos del Bilbao BBK Live saldrán desde la par te de atrás de San Mamés y desde el BEC! de Barakaldo con los siguientes horarios: el miércoles 7 desde las 17:30 de la tarde hasta las 23:00h y desde las 10 de la mañana del jueves 8 hasta las 14:00h del domingo 11 de manera ininterrumpida. Las frecuencias serán variables dependiendo de las necesidades, actuando cada 3 ó 4 minutos en las horas punta TAXIS El servicio de taxis de Bilbao doblará su servicio du-rante los días del festival y constará de un circuito con parada provisional en los accesos del recinto. Radio Taxi Bizkaia: 944 218 750 ACCESO PEATONAL El acceso peatonal se define desde el entorno del Termibus-San Mamés a través de la pasarela Bentazaharra y el ca-mino de Kobeta. Ez itxaron azken unera ar te ticketak eskuratzeko, jaialdian sar tzerakoan aldatzea gomendatzen dizugu, horrela ilara luzeak ekidingo dituzu Jaialdian ezin da ez janaririk ez edaririk sar tu OBJEKTU ARRISKUTSUAK Objektu zorrotzak, beirazkoak, metalikoak, jaur tigaiak, suharberak edo sendoak debekatuak daude. Jaialdia Kobetaseko gainaldean dagoen parkean kokatuta dago, Bilbo hiriko apar teko bistak dituena. Eremu natural honen garbitasuna eta kontserbazioa gure helburu nagusienetariko bat da eta espero dugu zeurea ere izatea. Zakarrontziaz gain, kontenedoreak ere egongo dira jaialdian zehar. Mesedez, erabili itzazu. Jaialdiko barra guztietan edaria plastikozko edalontzietan zerbitzatuko da, birziklatzeko errazak baitira. KOMUNAK Komun kimikoak egongo dira jaialdiko hainbat lekuetan. USERS GUIDE WHEN WILL THE CAMPING BE OPENED? The camping area will be opened on Wednesday July 7th at 18.00h and will remain opened until Sunday July 11th at 14:00h. The acquisition of any of the Bilbao BBK Live tickets includes the right for camping at any moment during the dates indicated in the access wristband. It is allowed to enter food and drinks in the camping area. It is not allowed to enter food or drinks in the concer t venue. The camping area has a limited capacity. WHAT TIME WILL THE DOORS BE OPENED? The Festival venue will open its doors at 16.00h on the 8th, 9th and 10th of July. BILBAO BBK LIVE’10 TICKET OFFICES There will be ticket offices in the same venue of the Bilbao BBK Live’10 where you can buy tickets, pick up invitations or accreditations and pick up the BBK tickets that need to be printed (Internet, tel). However, the best thing to do is to pick up these tickets purchased through Internet or telephone in the BBK multi-service cash dispensers.THE TIMETABLES OF THESE TICKETS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Thursday 8th – 12.00h to 1.00h; Friday 9th – 13.00h to 1.00h; Saturday 10th – 14.00h to 1.00h VOUCHERS AND WRISTBANDS Those people with 3 day-vouchers will have to exchange their ticket for a wristband that allows them to go in and out from the Festival venue throughout the 3 days of the Festival. Make sure that you wear the wristband correctly for it will be your access to the concer t from the moment you exchange it for a ticket. If you break or loose it, you will not be able to go back in. The three-day tickets are personal and non-transferable tickets. The one-day tickets do not have wristbands so, once in the venue, if you go out you will not be able to go back. The timetable to collect the Wristbands will be as follows: Thursday July 8th- 12.00h to 1.00h and Friday July 9th-13.00h to 1.00h ACCREDITATIONS AND INVITA-TIONS Wristbands, guests and press invitations will only be picked up in the accreditation house located at the entrance of the concer t venue. The timetables to pick up the accredita-tions and invitations are as follows: Thursday 8th – 12.00h to 1.00h; Friday 9th – 13.00h to 1.00h; Saturday 10th – 14.00h to 1.00h HANDICAPPED AREA At the sides of both main stages, there will be a higher area at the same level as the mixers designated for those people with mobility problems so that they can watch the shows. There will be also special buses for disabled people. FOOD AND DRINKS You will find bars in different places of

the concer t venue where you can buy mineral water, beer, energetic drinks, sandwiches…If you want to buy food and drinks you will have to get previously the tickets provided for such purpose in the different boxes all around the concer t venue. We suggest you not to wait to the peak hours to buy your tickets. Think in advance and get them once you get in the concer t venue, you will avoid many queues. It is not allowed to enter food or drinks in the Festival venue.DANGEROUS OBJECTS It is forbidden to enter the Bilbao BBK Live with sharp, glass, metallic, easily thrown, flammable or heavy objects including food and drinks in glass containers and/or cans. At the entrance there will be a check for everyone’s security. Please, collaborate with us and come light to the Bilbao BBK Live. PRESERVATION OF THE AREA Bilbao BBK Live is located in a privileged place: Kobetamendi. This is a park, at the high of Kobetas, that provides a fantastic view of the city of Bilbao. One of our main goals is the cleaning and preservation of this natural space and we hope is your concern too. There will be garbage bins all around the concer t venue. Please, use them. Bars distributed all around the area will only serve in easily recyclable plastic glasses. WC’S There will be chemi-cal toilets all around the concer t venue. Remember that we all will use them so try to leave them as you would like to find them. MEDICAL SERVICES There is an area at the entrance of the Bilbao BBK Live for Medical Services with doctors, nurses, ambulances, emergency hospital… If you feel sick or you have suffered or witnessed any kind of accident, go there and ask for an immediate assistance. There will be also members of the civil protection service, the fire-brigade and the local police. OFFICIAL MERCHANDISING There will be an official Bilbao BBK Live merchandising sale spot where you will also find material of all of the bands playing in the Festival. MARKET There will be a market in the concer t venue where anyone will be able to get all kind of ar ticles, from clothes to music. OTHER ADVISES • Do not forget to bring your documentation. • If you drink, do not drive, please. There will be breath tests in the Festival surroundings. Bring a cap and your sun screen, especially for the first concer ts. • Drink a lot of water in order to avoid dehydration. • It will be hot so come with comfor table clothes and shoes. • It is forbidden to enter the Bilbao BBK Live with pro-fessional audio and video recorders or cameras (reflex o with telephoto lens). Only domestic cameras without flash are allowed in. • For security reasons there is no luggage room in the Bilbao BBK Live, so we suggest you to bring only necessary and permitted things. METRO BILBAO WILL REMAIN OPENED DURING THE BILBAO BBK LIVE ’10 EVENINGS Metro Bilbao has set up a Summer night service that will remain opened during the weekends evenings of the Festival and this will last until the last weekend of September. It is estimated that around 15,000 people will use the night service each day of the Festival. PARKING The Bilbao BBK Live’10 parking is located in the BEC! (Bilbao Exhibition Center) in Barakaldo: in the -2 and -3 floors with a total of 2,700 covered and watched parking places. The parking entrance will cost 7 euro each time. Fur thermore, there will be free buses going out from the BEC! underground station. FREE BUSES The Bilbao BBK Live free buses will go out from the back of San Mamés and from the BEC! in Baracaldo according to the following timetables: Wednesday 7th – from 17:30h in the afternoon to 23:00h in the evening and from 10 in the morning on Thursday 8th until 14.00h on Sunday 11th, non-stop. The frequency will vary de-pending on the needs, passing every 3-4 minutes in the peak hours. TAXIS The taxi service of Bilbao will double its work during the Bilbao BBK Live Festival and it will make a circuit with a provisional stop at the accesses of the Festival venue. Radio Taxi Bizkaia: 944 218 750 PEDESTRIAN ACCESS The pedestrian access will cover the area from Termibus-San Mamés through the Bentazahar-ra footbridge and the Kobeta path. The pathway is signposted and can be done in 20 walking.

RISE TO FALLRise To Fall nace a mediados del 2006 en Bilbao bajo la influencia del death metal melódico facturado en Suecia. El grupo lo componen Dalay Tarda (voces), Hugo Markaida (guitarra), Javier Martin (guitarra rítmica), Iñigo Lopez (bajo) y Txamo (bateria). En Abril del 2008 el grupo se mete en “The Rockstudios” de Bilbao para grabar su primer álbum con el afamado productor Carlos Creator. Tras autoeditar “Restore The Balance”, el productor y compositor Ettore Rigotti (Disarmonia Mundi), decide realizar una post-producción en Italia (Metal House). Tras estos cambios el grupo ficha por la discográfica Coroner Records. Rise To Fall actuará en el Bilbao BBK Live como vencedora del último Villa de Bilbao.

Rise To Fall is born halfway through 2006 in Bilbao under the influence of Swedish melodic death metal. The band is composed by Dalay Tarda (voices), Hugo Markaida (guitar), Javier Martin (rhythmic guitar), Iñigo Lopez (bass) and Txamo (drums). In April 2008 the band records its first album at “The Rockstudios” in Bilbao with the well-known producer Carlos Creator. After self-editing “Restore The Balance”, producer and composer Ettore Rigotti (Disarmonia Mundi), decides to do a post-production in Italy (Metal House). After these changes the band sings up with Coroner Records. Rise To Fall will play at the Bilbao BBK Live as the winner of the last Villa de Bilbao.

VOLBEATVolbeat (unión de volumen y beat) son una joven banda de metal alternativo de Dinamarca. Su sonido oscila entre el mad metal y groove metal, con tintes hardcore y punk e influencias del hard rock, el country e incluso del rockabilly, que ellos denominan como Elvis Metal. El cañonazo de voz de Michael Poulsen está a medio camino entre James Hetfield y Danzig, con influencia del rockabilly y de Elvis Pressley en su modo de cantar. Volbeat (union of volume and beat) are now a young alternative metal band from Denmark. Their sound oscillates between the mad metal and the groove metal with hardcore and punk touches and hard rock, country and even rockabilly influences they call Elvis Metal. Michael Poulsen´s tremendous voice is in between James Hetfield and Danzig, with rockabilly and Elvis Pressley´s influences in their way of singing. BULLET FOR MY VALENTINEDesde 2003, este cuarteto de Gales se ha caracterizado por su novedosa revisión del metal de los 80, mezclado con punk y un rock oscuro y melódico. Podría decirse que Bullet For My Valentine comparten escena con bandas como Funeral For a Friend o Trivium, conformando el panorama metal del nuevo milenio. Matthew Tuck (voces/guitarra), Michael Padget (guitarra), Jason James (bajo) y Michael Thomas (batería) lograron un contrato con London’s Visible Noise en su segundo concierto. Así, la banda grabó su primer disco en 2005, “The Poison”. Tras ganar el premio de mejor nueva banda de UK por la revista Kerrang!, el grupo se embarcó en una gira abriendo para Rob Zombie. Una de las bandas más importantes de la nueva escena metal en Inglaterra.

Since 2003 this quartet from Wales is known for their novel review of the 80’s metal mixed up with punk and a dark and melodic rock. Thus, it could be said that Bullet For My Valentine shares the metal scene of the new millennium with bands like Funeral For A Friend or Trivium. Matthew Tuck (voices/guitar), Michael Padget (guitar), Jason James (bass) and Michael Thomas (drums) got a contact with London’s Visible Noise in their second concert. That is how the band recorded their first albumin 2005, “The Poison”. After wining the award as the best UK band by Kerrang! magazine, the band started a tour as the support band of Rob Zombie. This is one of the most important bands of the new metal scene in England.

SKUNK ANANSIESkunk Anansie se reagrupan, casi diez años después de su separación, para presentar su gran-des éxitos “Smashes and Trashes”. La banda de culto liderada por la impresionante vocalista Skin comenzó su andadura a principios de los noventa y tuvo bastante éxito a mediados de década gracias a su debut (“Paranoid and Sunburnt”) y a su single, “Selling Jesus”. Un año después publi-can “Stoosh”, otro gran disco que en su momento no fue muy comprendido a pesar de contar con temas como “Twisted” o “Hedonism”. Su tercer trabajo (“Post Orgasmic Chill”) trajo cambios en su estilo acercándoles a la electrónica de la época. Ahora regresan con su formación original.

Skunk Anansie come back together almost 10 years after their separation in order to present their greatest hits “Smashes and Trashes”. The cult band lead by the outstanding vocalist Skin started their career at the begining of the 90´s and were quiet successful in the middle of the decade thanks to their debut “Paranoid and Sunburnt” and their single “Selling Jesus”. One year later they released “Stoosh”, another great álbum then misudnerstood despite songs like “Twisted” or “Hedonism”. Their third work “Post Orgasmic Chill” brought changes in their style taking them closer to the electronic music predominant in that period. Junto con Tim McIlrath (voz y guitarra) y Joe Principe (bajo y coros), la banda se completa en la actua-lidad con Zach Blair (guitarra y coros) y Brandon Barnes (batería). En 2009 compusieron “Death Blossoms”, un tema creado en exclusiva para Guitar Hero. Ahora, tras arrasar literalmente en su reciente gira española se presentan en el Bilbao BBK Live.

Started out in the 90´s Rammstein is a German band practicing a powerful industrial metal with spectacular live performances. The band began their way to fame with two songs included in David Lynch´s film soundtrack “Lost Highway” included in the album “Sensucht” from 1999. The band stands out for their particular way of dressing – in between the Nazi imaginary and sado�sado-masochism, and their concerts where they mix pyrotechnical devices – like flamethrower gloves, with all kind of surprises – going with on a Zodiac over the audience. Their last album has been released in 2009 and it is entitled “Liebe Ist Für Alle Da” (love is for everybody).

WILD BEASTSBanda originaria de Inglaterra y formada en el 2002, Wild Beasts ha ido ganando el reconoci-miento desde el lanzamiento de su disco debut en el 2008, gracias a un rock-pop recargado de tintes post-punk, que sirve de fondo para la voz en contralto de su vocalista Hyaden Thorpe, la cual seguramente les recordará a Antony and the Johnsons. GOMEZGomez es una banda inglesa surgida en Southport en 1997. Uno de los distintivos de Gomez es que se trata de un quinteto que cuenta con tres vocalistas diferentes y cuatro composito-res. Su música cabalga entre el indie, el rock alternativo, el folk y lo experimental. Su primer disco de estudio, “Bring It On”, de 1998, se hizo con el premio Mercury. En 2005, fichan por ATO Records y se trasladan a Estados Unidos, posibilitando que Gomez haya actuado en las mejores salas del país y en festivales como Coachella, Lollapalooza o Bonnaroo y que recientemente acompañara a Pearl Jam en algunos concier tos. El último disco de estudio de Gomez, el sexto de su carrera, se llama “A New Tide”.

Gomez is an English band coming out from Southport in 1997. One of the distinctive features of this group is that the quintet has three different vocalists and 4 composers. Their music is in between indie, alternative rock, folk and experimental music. Their first studio album “Bring It On” from 1998 got the Mercury award. In 2005 they signed for ATO Records and they moved to the USA which unabled them to perform in the best venues of the country and in festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo. Recently they have accompanied Pearl Jam in some concer ts. Gomez’s last studio record, the sixth in their career is called “New Tide”.

BIFFY CLYROTras sorprender a propios y extraños con su último disco “Puzzle” acompañando a bandas como The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers o The Rolling Stones, los escoceses Biffy Clyro regresan a Bilbao para presentar su nuevo álbum de estudio: “Only Revolutions”. Con influencias como Nirvana, Weezer o QOTSA, la banda se formó a finales de los 90, pero no publicó ningún disco hasta prin-cipios del nuevo milenio. En cualquier caso, esta banda escocesa alcanza su punto álgido en los directos, donde ponen toda la energía en unos temas melódicos pero con muchísima fuerza y pre-cisión. Tras la increíble gira que protagonizaron a finales del 2009 ahora se presentan en Bilbao para demostrar que la gira ha convertido a la banda en una máquina de precisión quirúrgica.

After taking everyone unaware with their last album “Puzzle” accompaniyng bands like The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers or The Rolling Stones, the Scottish band Biffy Clyro returns to Bilbao to present their last studio album “Only Revolutions”. With influences from bands like Nirvana, Weezer or QOTSA, the group started at the end of the 90’s but they did not release any record until the begining of the new millenium. In any case, this Scottish band reaches its high points int concerts where they put all the energy in their melodic songs with a lot of strength and precision. After the incredible tour they starred at the end of 2009 they now come to Bilbao to demonstrate the tour has transformed the band into a precise qirurgical machine.

COHEED AND CAMBRIAFormados a principios de milenio de las cenizas de Shabutie, Coheed And Cambria lo forman ori-ginariamente cuatro miembros: Claudio Sánchez (cantante y guitarra), Travis Stever (guitarra), Michael Todd (bajo y voces secundarias) y Josh Eppard (batería). Desde sus inicios la banda se movió por terrenos de metal progresivo, cosechando muy buenas críticas de prensa y público. Sus discos son conceptuales y la temática siempre está relacionada con los comics que publica su líder, Claudio Sanchez. Así, su nuevo trabajo (“Year of the Black Rainbow”) sería una precuela de toda la historia que a lo largo de los años han ido contando sus discos y sus comics. Una de las bandas más importantes y sorprendentes de la escena metal actual.

Formed at the beginning of the millennium out of Shabutie´s ashes, Coheed and Cambria is originally formed by tour members: Claudio Sánchez (as singer and guitarist), Travis Stever (gui-(gui-tarist), Michael Todd (bassist and secondary voices) and Josh Eppard (drums). The band started in the Progressive Metal getting very good reviews by press and audience. They make conceptual albums always related with the comics edited by their leader Claudio Sanchez. Thus, their new album “Year of the Black Rainbow” tells about the whole story their records and their comics have been telling about throughout the years. This is one of the most important and surprising bands of the current metal scene.

No en vano, la mayor parte de sus miembros son inmigrantes de Europa del Este, y el grupo utiliza sonidos de acordeón y violín o incluso una sección de viento para desarrollar su cabaret-dub-punk. Entre sus influencias están Mano Negra, The Clash, Parliament�Funkadelic, Jimi Hendrix,… Tras el éxito a nivel mundial que supuso su anterior trabajo, “Super Taranta”, la banda neoyorkina se acerca a Bilbao para presentar su inminente nuevo trabajo “Gogol Bordello Non�Stop”. This British rock musician, founder of The Jam and The Style Council started his solo career in 1990 and since then he has been showing his quality and eclecticism in all of his works. His influences go from Marvin Gaye, Neil Young, Bob Dylan or The Who and he has been awarded with several British music prizes. Came out in the mid 90´s, Dropkick Murphys is a punk-folk band formed in the neighborhoods of Irish immigrant workers of South Boston. They used to rehearse in the basement of a fiend´s barber´s shop combining several types of music as punk rock, Oi!, Irish Folk, Rock and Hardcore creating as a result their own style. ZAINEste grupo se formó en la localidad de Berriz (Bizkaia) en el invierno del 2005-2006. Su mú-sica la podemos definir como una mezcla de punk-rock con pop y punk americano, en la que a ratos la banda roza la velocidad del punk rock más rabioso y en otros momentos se torna más rockera con estribillos contagiosos. En cuanto a influencias, el cuarteto idolatra el hardcore melódico de grupos como Millencolin, Rise Against o Bad Religion. Tras haberse proclamado vencedores del concurso de maquetas que la radio Gaztea (EITB) organiza anualmente, Zain se han ganado un hueco en el cartel del Bilbao BBK Live 2010, en el que pisarán el mismo escenario que algunas de sus bandas favoritas.

Zain 2005-2006ko neguan Berrizen (Bizkaia) sortutako taldea da. This group was created in the village of Berriz, Basque Country, in the winter 2005-2006. We can define their music as a mix of punk-rock with American pop and punk where the band sometimes is close to the most furius punk rock and in some other moments it becomes more rocker with contagious chorus. Concerning its influences the quartet idolizes the melodic har-dcore of bands like Millencolin, Rise Against or Bad Religion. After being proclaimed winners of the demo contest of Gaztea radio (Basque Public Radio and Television), Zain have made themselves a room in the Bilbao BBK Live 2010 line-up where they will be on stage with some of their favourite bands.

BAND OF SKULLSSurgidos a finales de década, este trío inglés se acerca al espíritu de The White Stripes o The Kills, repleto de atmósferas blues cargadas de melodías. Band of Skulls está formado por Russell Marsden (guitarra y voz), Emma Richardson (bajo y voces) y Matt Hayward (batería), tres jóve-nes de Southampton que, tras conocerse en el colegio, decidieron formar una banda de rock. Así, en 2008 graban una ruidosa demo bajo el nombre de Fleeing New York. Un año después, ya bajo el nombre de Band of Skulls, graban su celebrado disco debut: “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey”, tras el cual lograron girar a nivel internacional. Su inclusión en la banda sonora de “Crepúsculo: Luna Nueva” les terminó de convertir en una de las promesas de la escena inglesa.

Thus, in 2008 they recorded a noisy demo under the name Fleeing New York. A year after and already as Band of Skulls they recorded their celebrated debut album “Baby Darling Doll Face Honey” after which they got to tour internationally. Their inclusion in the soundtrack of the film “Twilight: New Moon” made the band become one of the promises of the English scene.

THE MACCABEESThe Maccabees son una banda de indie rock de origen inglés, fundada en Brighton (Inglaterra) y originaria del sur de Londres. Amigos desde su época del colegio, estos cinco jóvenes ingleses comenzaron su andadura como banda en el 2003, ensayando en la habitación que compartían el cantante Orlando Weeks y el batería Robert Dylan Thomas. El primer single (“X-Ray”) se publicó en el año 2005 y gracias al apoyo de las radios locales pudieron abrir para Arctic Monkeys. El debut de la banda se publicó un año después con el single “Latchmere” como punta de lanza. El sonido de la banda fue poco a poco cogiendo forma con influencias de Arcade Fire, Interpol y los mismos Arctic Monkeys. Ahora llegan a Bilbao para presentarnos su nuevo trabajo “Wall of Arms”.

The Maccabees are an indie rock band from England founded in Brighton (England) but originally from the South of London. Oriundos de Cardiff (Gales), Los Campesinos son una banda de seis amigos que se conocieron en la universidad y decidieron formar la banda tras comprobar que sus gustos musicales eran muy parecidos: Violent Femmes, They Might Be Giants, Yo La Tengo,… Surgidos en el 2006, apenas en dos años se hicieron un nombre en la escena gracias a singles de la talla de “Death to Los Campesions!” y en 2008 debutaron con el EP “Hold On Now, Youngster…”, al que le siguió ese mismo año el disco “We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed”. La banda recibió muy buenas críticas y giró por todo el mundo presentado un espectáculo en vivo de lo más divertido. Ahora se acercan a Bilbao para presentar su nuevo disco: “Romance is Boring”.

Originally from Cardiff (Wales), Los Campesinos is a band comprised of 6 friends who met at University and decided to form the band after realising their music tastes were very similar: Violent Femmes, They Might Be Giants, Yo La Tengo… Starting in 2006, in just 2 years they became well-known in the scene thanks to singles like “Death to Los Campesions!” and in 2008 they debuted with the EP “Hold On Now, Youngster…”, followed that same year by the album “We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed”. The band got very good reviews and they toured all around the world with a very enjoyable show. They now come to Bilbao to present their new work: “Romance is Boring”.

JEFF TWEEDYJeff Tweedy, nacido en Belleville (Illinois) es un compositor, músico y poeta norteamericano. Empezó su carrera con la banda de country alternativo Uncle Tupelo a principios de los 90, pero a media-dos de década disolvió el grupo y creó su actual proyecto: Wilco. Tras tres geniales discos que no tuvieron mayor repercusión, a principios de milenio graba “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot”, un disco que le valió para que le echaran de su discográfica, pero que paradójicamente también le abrió las puertas del éxito. A esta obra le siguió otra obra maestra llamada “A Ghost is Born”, tras la cual comenzó a realizar algunos conciertos en solitario. Ahora Jeff Tweedy se acerca a Bilbao para presentarnos todos sus himnos y algunas versiones en un formato diferente.

Oihartzun handirik izan ez zuten hiru lan bikainen ondoren, milurtekoaren hasieran “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” diskoa heldu zen. Born in Belleville (Illinois) Jeff Tweedy is a composer, musician and poet. He started in the music world with the alternative country band Uncle Tupelo at the beginning of the 90’s but in the middle of the decade he disolved the band and created his current project: Wilco. After three fantastic albums that did not cause much impact, at the beginning of the millenium he recorded “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” after which he was expelled from his record label but which paradoxically. This work was followed but another masterpiece called “A Ghost is Born” after which he started to give some solo concerts. Now, Jeff Tweedy is coming to Bilbao to present us all his hymns and some versions in a different format.

Con miembros que anteriormente formaron parte de Union Carbide Production, la banda se creó a mediados de los 90. Debutaron con el enorme “Welcome to the Infant Freebase” para rematar su visión de la música a través de su personalísimo prisma con “Extended Revelation”. Pero fue en el año 2000 cuando la banda logró llegar a un público más amplio con esa obra maestra llamada “Behind the Music”. TSOOL tiene uno de los mejores directos de la escena actual. Presentarán temas de su inminente nuevo disco de estudio. The Soundtrack Of Our Lives is a Sweden band with a classic sound near to The Who, David Bowie or The Rolling Stones… all of it seen from a wonderful psychedelic-pop prism. With members who before had belonged to the Union Carbide Production, the band was created in the mid 90s and they debuted with their great “Welcome to the Infant Freebase” rounding off their very personal music vision through the work “Extended Revelation”. But it was in 2000 when the band got a greater audience with that master piece called “Behind the Music”. TSOOL have one of the best live sounds of the current scene. They will present songs of their imminent new studio album.

Los miem-bros son el galés Grant Nicholas (cantante, guitarra, compositor), el bajista japonés Taka Hirose y el batería inglés Mark Richardson. Lejos del sonido imperante en el Reino unido en aquella época (brit�pop), la banda se acercaba más a los postulados de bandas como Nirvana, Pixies o Smashing Pumpkins. Su debut se produjo en 1997 con “Polythene”, un mega éxito gracias a su single “High”. Posteriores trabajos como “Echo Park” o Comfort in Sound” mantuvieron la llama de la banda encendida, aunque en los últimos años se han prodigado menos. Ahora se acercan a Bilbao para presentar en directo su inminente trabajo, “Renegades”.

Feeder is an alternative rock band created in Newport, South Wales in 1992. Far from the prevailing sound in the UK in that time (the brit�pop), the band is closer to postulates of bands like Nirvana, Pixies or Smashing Pumpkins. Their debut took place in 1997 with “Polythene”, a great success thanks to their single “High”. Later works like “Echo Park” or Comfort in Sound” kept the band’s flame alive although in the last years they have been quieter. They now come to Bilbao to present their imminent work “Renegades” in concert.

MANIC STREET PREACHERSSurgida a finales de los 80 como una abrasiva banda neopunk con trazas de los Clash y queren-cia hard rock a lo Guns N’ Roses, Manic Street Preachers derrochan una actitud independiente e incisión lírica en cuestiones sociales y políticas. Posteriormente se reciclan a posturas más pulidas y poperas a mediados de los 90, con arreglos orquestales y pasajes jungle pop o incluso punk-pop. En 1992 debutaron con “Generation Terrorists”, estupendo y desabrido doble álbum, con semblantes hard rock y punk-rock. A partir de ahí, sus diversos trabajos consiguieron refle-jar a la perfección la angustia juvenil, convirtiéndose en una de las bandas más influyentes de los 90. Ahora, vuelven para presentarnos su nuevo trabajo: “Journal For Plague Lovers”.

Coming out at the end of the 80´s as an abrasive neo-punk band with traces of the Clash and a hard rock style near Guns N’ Roses, Manic Street Preachers exudes an independent attitude and a lyric incision in social and political issues. Afterwards they recycle themselves with more polished and pop attitudes in the mid 90´s with orquestral arrangements and jungle pop or even punk-pop passages. They debuted in 1992 with “Generation Terrorists” - a great and tasteless double album with hard rock and punk-rock touches. Since then, their several works reflect per-fectly the Youth´s anguish becoming one the most influent bands of the 90´s. They now come to present us their new album: Journal for plague lovers.

FAITH NO MOREFormados a principios de los 80, Faith No More no comenzó a destacar en la escena hasta finales de la década gracias a la incorporación del frontman Mike Patton. A partir de entonces, aprove-chando una generación de bandas cercanas a su propuesta musical (Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Faith No More comenzó a destacar como una de las bandas más importantes de los 90. Discos de la talla de “The Real Thing” o “King For a Day…” hicieron el resto, influyendo a algunas de las bandas más importantes de la siguiente década: System Of a Down, Incubus… En cualquier caso, su mezcla de metal con hip-hop, punk, pop, funk y rock jamás ha sido superado por ninguno de sus seguidores. Una de las reunificaciones más esperadas de los últimos años.

Formed at the beginning of the 80´s, Faith No More didn´t start to stand out in the scene until the end of the decade thanks to their new front-man Mike Patton. Since then and taking advantage of a generation of bands closet o their music proposal (Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers,…), Faith No More started to become one of the most important bands of the 90´s. Albums like “The Real Thing” or “King For a Day…” did the rest and they influenced some of the most important bands of the following decade: System of a Down, Incubus… In any case, their mix of metal with hip-hop, punk, pop, funk and rock has never been exceeded for any of their followers. They are one of the most awaited reunifications of the last years.

Con influencias claras de los clásicos (Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, The Kinks, AC/DC, The Beatles,…) la banda australiana logró seguir creciendo más allá de aquel primer disco y tres años después publica-ban “Shine On”, un álbum que se decantaba por el pop en detrimento del rock que inundaba su primera obra de estudio. A falta de un single tan potente como “Are You Gonna Be My Girl?” la banda publicó un disco mucho más completo y trabajado. Ahora el grupo australiano se acerca a Bilbao para presentarnos en vivo su último disco, “Shacka Rock”.
