GTU Innovation Sankul Navsari

Completed the Sankul Committee formation

Links students to industries for their Final Year Project

GTU Innovation Council has established an Innovation Sankul at Navsari consisting of 14 GTU

colleges. A series of Industrial Shodh Yatras have been organized through the Udisha clubs

under the Innovation Sankul. The pre final year students are being mapped with MSMEs forsummer Shodh Yatras so that they will be able locate the IDPs (Industry Defined Projects)

empathetically. These IDPs will be converted as the final year project thesis in the Colleges. The

Sankul authorities have interacted with a series of Industries and nominated a team from both

industry and academia for smooth functioning of Sankul giving emphasize to all verticals of

engineering, pharmacy and management.

The Sankul has progressed significantly in making effort in linking MSME issues even at Diploma

level. Prof Mulchand Sen of (SRIMCA) and other Udisha Coordinators of the Sankul have put a

strong effort in mapping the industry defined projects which will be converted as final year

thesis in coming academic year. They are developing a road map for mapping the industries

both in and outside the industry zones of Navsari to harness the optimum output. The Directors

will now create sector specific loops involving experienced and young faculty guides. The strong

support from faculty members and Udisha coordinators has accelerated the awareness effort

regarding the objectives of Innovation Council among students, faculties and industry.
