When replacing a SW3000/SW3200 or SW4000/SW4200 Non-XL Arm with a XL Arm, you must insure that thecontrol board is compatible with the newer arm. On the controlboard there are three (3) computer chips (1 square and 2rectangular). The Top 2 chips (1 square and 1 rectangular) mustbe labeled Rev 4 (4th revision). If not, you will need to purchase

and install a Generation III Control Board (R4207 or R4211).If you are replacing only one arm in a dual

installation, the second arm also must be upgraded by purchasingand installing a R4200XL Motor, RVCTBDXL Rev Counter andRCCCUPXL Rev Counter Cup.

Replacing GTO Intercom ModulesThe easiest way to tell the 1 st generation intercom from the 2 nd

generation intercom is to look at the base. The base on the 1 st generationintercom is ivory colored. The base on the 2 nd generation is black colored.The keypad is a little harder. The 1 st generation keypad had the GTOPRO logo on a sticker on the face at the bottom. The 2 nd generation keypadhas the GTO PRO logo stenciled onto the face of the housing itself at thebottom.

Parts for the 1 st generation intercom are not compatible withthe parts of the 2 nd generation intercom. The 1 st generation intercom willnot accept multiple base stations. The 2 nd generation intercom will acceptup to a total of four base stations provided they are within range. DADSstocks modules for the 2 nd generat ion intercom. Modules for the 1 st

generation intercom are special order.
