fun begins when he dreams him-self into the plot of his theater’s latest crime melodrama, with unexpected results.

Born in 1895, Keaton made his stage debut as a tod-dler, joining his family’s knock-about vaudeville act and learn-ing to take falls and do acrobatic stunts at an early age. He spent his entire childhood and adoles-cence on stage, attending school for exactly one day.

An entirely intuitive artist, Keaton entered films in 1917 and was quickly absorbed by the new medium. After apprenticing with popular comedian Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle, Keaton went on to set up his own studio in 1920, making short comedies that established him as a one of the era’s leading talents.

Rapsis, a New Hampshire-based silent film accompanist, will provide live music for both films. Rapsis, who accompanies silent film screenings at venues around the nation, improvises live scores for silent films using a digital synthesizer to recreate the texture of the full orchestra.

Month, a time to recognize those who volunteer their time

DOVER –Hi, I’m Halo! I love to

roughhouse and play long games of fetch with the people who love me the most. I have a strong and bold personality, ready to take on the world with my human by my side. I also have great mo-tivation and focus when being worked with. I get along with people who share a similar per-sonality. I would rather not live with any other dogs, cats or kids.

I need to learn my manners and work on how to stay calm. I need an active adult home who will embrace my goofy side and give me all the attention I need and deserve. Age: 4 years. Sex: NM. Breed: American Pit Bull / Lab-rador Retriever.
