Helps police for searching the thief easily.

Alarm system and security systems. Very latest mobile technology using

stylish MODEM with microcontrollers. GPS and GSM wireless Technology.

Framework Overview

•Home Appliance Control System (HACS):- Home appliance control system is based on GSM network technology for transmission of SMS from sender to receiver. SMS receiving and sending of appliances and allowing breach control at home.

PC:- PC contains the software components such as the HACS System through which the appliances are controlled and home security is monitored.

GSM Modem :- It is a hardware component that allows the capability to receive and send SMS to and from the system. Through RS232 serial port the communication with the system takes place. Cell phone can be attached at the place of GSM hardware but it limits the hardware functionality such as receiving or sending of SMS.

Mobile Device :- Cellular phone containing SIM card has a specific number through which communication takes place. Then device communicates with the GSM Modem through radio frequency. Mobile user transfers SMS by using GSM technology.

Conclusion Remotely controlled solution for automation of homes

has been introduced. The approach discussed in the paper is the novel and achieved the target to control home appliances remotely by using the SMS-based system satisfying users requirements.

GSM technology provide home security and it is cost-effective as compared to the previously existing systems.

In future the system will be small box combining the PC and GSM Modem. This hardware can be import from Singapore and Taiwan. The hardware cannot be prone to electric failure and self contained. This appliance will have its our encapsulated UPS and charging system.
