MAJOR MANUFACTURERS

Starline Italy manufacture ball valves from 6NB through 350NB

(1/4” to 14”) in pressure classes ANSI 150-2500lb. Established

in 1976, Starline have developed an outstanding reputation for

quality and reliability. Starline have a number of major approvals

including Shell and Total who demand the highest specification

requirements. The Starline range is fugitive emission

prototype certified in all classes.

and Trunnion mounted in standard

and special materials, soft seated

and metal seated. In Australia

GSL maintain one of the worlds

largest and most diverse Starline

stock profiles including Superstar,

Splitstar, Masterstar, Ultrastar and

high pressure Megastar combinations.

Sferova’s production capability includes forged API6D Ball valves

in sizes 15NB through 1000NB (1/2” to 40”) in pressure classes ANSI

150-2500lb. Valve designs manufactured include Floating ball,

Trunnion mounted, Side entry, Top entry, Bolted and Welded body

construction in soft and metal seated, subsea, cryogenic and high

temperature applications. Sferova are involved in Oil and

Gas projects worldwide and have numerous end user

and product approvals. GSL has the most

extensive stocks of Sferova API6D

ball valves in the world.

Australian Pipeline Valve (APV) manufacture Ball, Gate, Globe,

Check and Plug valves in pressure classes ANSI 150–2500lb as

well as API6A Gate valves, Chokes and Wellheads. The Australian

Pipeline Valve family of brands also broadens APV’s portfolio of

products and includes the following brands within the APV stable:

• Supercheck - Wafer Check valves.

• Steamco - Parallel Slide and SDNR valves.

• Flowturn - Cast Iron valves and

Multiway Ball valves, Needle

JC Valves manufacture forged and cast Floating & Trunnion Ball

Valves as well as Gate, Globe & Check Valves and Strainers up to

1250NB (50”) in classes up to ANSI 2500/API 10,000. The JC Group

of companies also own Actreg S.A who manufacture scotch yoke

actuators up to 250,000 Nm. JC are approved by numerous majors

including Shell, BP, Mobil, Exxon certified to API600, API6D, API6A,

CE, PED, SIL3, API607, API6FA and Fugitive emission. JC can

manufacture valves for special and critical service including high

temperature, cryogenic, abrasive service and buried service.

comprehensive inventory of valves and

actuators with a full engineering facility,

as well as a test and automation shop all

in one location. Operating from a modern

purpose built premises gives GSL the

technical and operational benefits that

are derived from having all aspects of the

business under one roof. Our fully equipped

valve engineering, automation and test

facility enables us to supply valve and

actuator packages in short delivery times.

One of our key strategies has been

to invest in enhanced workshop facilities

enabling us to provide a more flexible

Valve automation

In our well equipped valve automation

facility, we assemble and test our valves

with all types and brands of actuators and

automation accessories in accordance with

customer specifications. With more than

25 years experience in the valve business,

GSL has developed a reputation in valve

automation. We have invested in extensive

stocks, holding a large range of rack & pinion

and scotch yoke pneumatic actuators as

well as brackets and accessories allowing

us to assemble, test and ship in days,

not months. We deliver process actuated

valve packages “off the shelf”.

Testing

We also provide a

comprehensive range

of in-house testing

services including :

• Hydrostatic and gas

pressure testing

(up to 15,000 PSIG).

• Valve and Actuator assembly

performance and torque testing.

• In-house non destructive testing/PMI.

Engineering

Global Supply Line Engineering can

perform all types of modifications and

enhancements in our fully equipped facility.

We can perform quick production

or “rush” modifications and retrofitting

of standard valves, such as upgrading

to extended bonnet, fitting gearboxes

and special seats. In addition we offer

modifications of end connections, by-passes,

changing packing materials, jacketing, lining

and plating. We carry extensive stocks

of spare parts allowing rapid changeover

of valve seats/seals together with options

for modifications for specific application

requirements e.g. low and high temperature

seat and seal modifications.
