To rotate the grout and tile head, simply press down the lever and move the head to the desired position, ensuring the pin locks securely into the hole.

We recommend cleaning 1 to 2 square metres of floor tiles at a time, following these steps:

• Lift up the wand head and turn it to the vertical grout cleaning position.

• Turn on only the pump button on the Britex machine.

• Hold in the spray lever on the wand to apply water & solution to the floor. Apply the brush section of the refill head to the grout line, scrubbing along the grout line in a back and forth motion until clean. Release the wand trigger to stop spraying.

• Once you’ve completed cleaning the selected areas of grout, position the wand head to the horizontal mopping position.

• Turn on both the pump & vacuum buttons on the Britex machine.

• During mopping, apply water to the tiles as needed using the spray trigger. To extract water from the tiles, lift the edge of the mop that is closest to you slightly off the ground so that the mop head is tilted. Mop over the tiled area, bringing the wand head towards you, extracting water as it goes.

• Repeat the above process until all of the desired area of grout and tiles are cleaned.

• Periodically check Tank A and discard the dirty water. Follow steps 1 & 2 on the machine set-up guide.

The Britex Grout & Tile system is designed for cleaning large, open areas of tiled flooring. Not designed for use in small enclosed spaces such as bathrooms or for use on wall tiles. Do not use this product on loose grout or on tiles that have been sealed. Do not use on marble, stone or timber surfaces.

HOW TO CLEAN FLOOR GROUT & TILES• Place the floor wand face-down onto the carpet.

• Hold in the spray lever on the wand to apply water & solution to the carpet, whilst moving the head over the carpet.

• Stop spraying and vacuum over the dampened area to extract the water.

• Repeat this process over stained areas.

• Periodically check Tank A and discard the dirty water. Follow steps 1 & 2 on the machine set-up guide.

• Simply plug in the machine and turn on the VAC switch only.

• Vacuum as normal to remove excess water. No cleaning solutions required.

Release any unused solution from Tank B and empty out the dirty water from Tank A. Rinse out the dome lid and filter. Clean the machine thoroughly before returning it to store.

• Hold in the spray lever on the wand and spray, moving the wand over the fabric.

• Stop spraying and vacuum over the dampened area to extract the water.

• Repeat this process over stained areas.

• Do not over-saturate fabric. Extra ‘vacuum only’ passes without spraying water will speed up the drying process.

• Periodically check Tank A and discard the dirty water. Follow steps 1 & 2 on the machine set-up guide.

MACHINE SETUP GUIDE

Remove dome lid from Tank A and if cleaning carpet or upholstery, add 2 capfuls of Britex de-foamer.

Replace the dome lid securely. NOTE: De-foamer is NOT required for Grout & Tile cleaning.

Fill tank B with 9L of hot tap water ensuring the water level does not go above the filter.

CARPET Add 3 capfuls of Britex carpet cleaning solution.

UPHOLSTERY Add 4 capfuls of Britex upholstery cleaning solution.

GROUT & TILE Add 3 capfuls of Britex grout & tile cleaning solution.

Connect the small brass end of the thin solution hose to the connection point under the vacuum & pump switches.

Pull back the brass sleeve on the end of the hose and push the hose firmly onto the connection point until it locks into place. Release the sleeve.

Connect one end of the larger vacuum hose to the dome lid (Tank A) and the other end to the end of the applicable

cleaning wand.

Plug the machine into your powerpoint.Turn both vacuum and pump buttons on for carpet & upholstery

cleaning. You are now ready to clean!

If cleaning grout & tiles, firstly attach the brush refill to the grout & tile wand, following the instructions on the brush refill box.
