The VBS Team at Group is grateful for all the ways you shine God’s light in your community. We know you have a heart to minister to every child who walks, rides a bike, or zips past your church in a parent’s car. You’re eager for ways to welcome those kids into your church.

Vacation Bible school is a powerful ministry for reaching into your community. But maybe you feel as if VBS is only for big churches with lots of resources. The problem is, not every kid who needs VBS lives near one of those churches. What about the kids in your neighborhood?

Group’s Weekend VBS is the answer. This all-new program puts VBS within reach of more kids than ever before. Imagine your church being the place where kids meet Jesus for the first time! Weekend VBS isn’t just a way to pull-off a fun VBS program with fewer resources—it’s an experience that will change a child’s life forever!

Weekend VBS is made up of two 2½ hour sessions, plus a powerful all-church Sunday Celebration. With this effective combination, you’ll:

Projects With a Purpose® No crafts? Rocky Point Lighthouse has something even better! Kids put God’s love into action by making special gifts for others in their church, community, and the world.

Multi-Age Kids of all ages join Crews with a teenage or adult leader for each day’s adventures. It really works, and discipline problems practically disappear.

Sunday Celebration This morning service for the whole congregation is designed to let the kids shine, as they share what they’ve learned at VBS. And since no practice is necessary, your job just got even easier!

Preschoolers have fun, too! They join the other

kids for the opening and closing and enjoy their own

Bible-learning activities in between.

Bright Bible Adventures Kids get blindfolded and then have “mud” put on their eyes and get it washed away as they discover how Jesus healed a blind man. They also get a poster that reminds them to shine God’s light all the time!

Preschool Bible Adventures Crew members meet each other and then explore how Jesus touched a man with mud and did a miracle! Preschoolers even get a poster that reminds them to shine God’s light all the time!
