A fitness and social program for people experiencing early stage memory loss and a friend, family member or caregiver. Work with certified fitness instructors for one hour. A facilitator will assist with activities for the second hour. This is a registered program.

A support group is dedicated to improving the communication skills and quality of life for the hearing impaired. Sessions include guest speakers and group discussions. All are welcome to attend the free sessions (no session July/August). Come to a meeting before purchasing a hearing aid for insight and information.

Support and activities for those recovering from stroke, and their caregivers. Includes social activities, exercise, outings, speech therapy, speakers and special events. Attend three meetings at no charge; club membership is $20.00 annually, plus a Pavilion Annual Pass.

A program designed to help seniors remain independent at home. Helps seniors with simple day to day tasks, which allows them to maintain their independence and stay connec ted to the community. Program offers light housekeeping, transport to doctor’s appointments and grocery shopping. Sponsored by SHARE Family and Community Services, United Way and the Government of BC.

Information, referrals, telephone grocery shopping, visting and telephone reassurance programs for isolated homebound seniors with little or no support in the community. A volunteer will call or visit weekly.

Stimulating social and recreational program for people over 60 living with mild to moderate dementia. The three hour weekly program is sponsored by Glen Pine 50Plus Society in collaboration with the City of Coquitlam, other community partners and private donations.
