Group Visits to

Patchwork Farm

A visit to Patchwork Farm lasts 2 hours and consists of up to 4 talks (listed below) chosen in advance. Each session can be linked to Key Stage 2 and 3 science and includes hands-on activities. We can accommodate groups of up to 15 children and young adults with a staffing ratio of up to 1:1.

Patchwork Farm offers children and adults a unique opportunity to learn in an outdoor environment, interact with animals and experience the multi-sensory stimulation that only a farm can offer.

Sessions are available throughout the year including evenings and weekends.

WHY VISIT US? Patchwork Farm offers an interactive, outdoor learning environment, allowing young people close contact and interaction with a range of animals.

WHO CAN VISIT? Patchwork Farm welcomes groups from nurseries and preschools, both mainstream and special schools as well as other community groups.

Sessions can be adapted to suit the needs of the young people or specific learning outcomes of the group.

Patchwork Farm is wheelchair accessible and visitors have access to fully equipped hygiene areas with hoists.
