High ConceptDeserted is going to be an action role-playing survival

game. It will be a non-linear open world game,

with an objective of finding your way back to

civilization after being involved in a plane crash

on an island.

In order to survive the player will have to complete tasks and

learn skills. For example, you will need to gather resources

such as wood, and learn how to conduct your own fire. A key element of our game will be

character development, and the player will be able to level up different skills by using them, such as fire building, hunting, stealth, and electronic repair. Fire could be a useful tool to warm you while in the snow,

provide light at night, and even could be used in defense. Be careful though, the light and

smoke it emits could also attract other predators!

Open WorldThis game will have an open world design, with

nonlinear game play. The player can travel as they wish throughout the land,

and discover different locations and climates as

they travel.

In areas of snow you must be careful not to contract hypothermia. If you are at

a high altitude you will need to travel slowly to

acclimate or you might be forced travel back down the mountain to regain

your energy.

In addition to having to cope with elements of nature, it will be

essential to find nourishment to keep your energy up as well. Players

can opt to kill animals for meat or pick berries- but beware of

poisonous species!

Survival

In addition to finding basic necessities such as warmth and food, you must also watch out for predators! You must decide

whether to use your stealth skills to hide from wild animals, or

to create strong enough weapons to

fight them.

Getting off the Island

Your ultimate goal of the game is to find a way

back to civilization. There are different paths to doing this, including

crafting a boat, finding parts and repairing a

radio, or finding flares and signaling planes.
