Examinations– CBSE Xth Std. pass percentage, year 2011: 98.6

– No. of students scoring more than 90%: 38377 (+248%

over year 2010)

– CBSE XIIth Std. pass percentage, year 2011: 81.71

– No. of students scoring more than 90%: 21665 (+31%

over year 2010)

• During the decade 2000 - 2010– Increase in number of students passing out XIIth Std. is

from 10 Lakh to 1 Cr. 10 Lakh (+1100%)

– Increase in Universities 311 to 509 (+63%)

– Increase in Colleges 15600 to 31000 (+99%)

– For 54,000 seats in around 70 Delhi University colleges,

estimated number of applications over 125,000

• 100% cut-off marks set by Shri Ram College of

Commerce (SRCC)
