There is no way you can resist the seduction of the Griso’s inimitable looks,the fascination of its ageless 90° V-Twin engine, or the high-tech frame thatsurrounds it. The Griso is the very definition of elegance. From its moderninstrument panel to its advanced LED tail light, nothing about the Grisopasses unobserved. Yet the Griso is not just a pretty face. True pleasure canonly be experienced from the saddle. The upright riding position and widehandlebars give you absolute control and make it so easy to flick throughtraffic, helped by a beautifully responsive chassis. The suspension is fullyadjustable too, and adapts easily to all riding styles and levels of load toguarantee a tremendously comfortable ride even with a passenger behindyou. Moto Guzzi’s patented compact reactive shaft drive delivers smooth,jerk-free power for even greater comfort. Even the worst rush-hour suddenstop can be performed effortlessly by a braking system that incorporatestwo 12.6” front discs with opposing four-pot calipers. The Griso’s characteremerges strong and clear even when you stop to refuel: that Formula 1 fillercap certainly cannot go unnoticed.

THE LINE OF PRECISION

Don’t be fooled by the long wheelbase. The Griso can tackle twistingroads with surprising agility imparted by a top class chassis. As you aiminto the bend, the front end sticks to the asphalt like glue, thanks to amassive 43 mm (1.7”) fork with fully adjustable suspension, and therigid steel frame responds instantly to your control. Power out of thebend and you immediately establish a perfectly straight and stable lineagain, assisted by rising rate rear linkages and a monoshock withseparate gas tank and adjustable spring preload, compression andrebound. Pure pleasure is to be had riding the Griso over fast countryroads as well as on mountain roads, where massive torque at low revscome into play. And on those long straight roads you can expect therock-steady, cruiser-style stability, with the benefit of exceptional gripfrom high performance tires.

Just look at the tubular frame supporting the monumental fuel tank, theimposing engine, and the mighty exhaust. You can see immediately that theGriso is untamed, born from an unrestricted design concept that has turnedthe pleasure of motorcycling into a physical form. Nothing bland could evergrow around the classical nucleus of Guzzi’s 90° V-twin, with its unmistakablecooling fins. Everything about the Griso is certainly inspired, from its sportyfront end to its slender tail, through the aggressive, forward-reaching sidepanels and high-tech cylinder heads. Yet the Griso’s aggression is temperedby the elegance of a refined, satin finish that contrasts with gleaming chromecomponents. Functionality is uncompromising too, from the futuristicinstrument panel with active matrix LCD display and on-board computer, to the high intensity, triple LED tail light. Even the color schemes speak forthemselves: aggressive Guzzi Black and traditional Racing Red.

INSTRUMENTS

The wide, biconical handlebarsgive you total control over yourmachine, and make rapiddirection changes a piece ofcake. Style and functionality gotogether in the hand-brushedrisers, machined from top quality material and finishedwith lavish care.

HANDLEBARS AND RISERS

The fuel filler cap is a distinctivefeature on top of the tank.Inspired by Formula 1, it notonly makes refuelling quickerand easier, but adds an originaland eye-catching touch of class.

On the Griso, clever technicalsolutions always come instylish form. The oil cooler, for example, is located to theside of the bike where it notonly blends in with the overallstyling but also improves theefficiency of the lubricationsystem.

The imposing exhaust with itstwin pipes adds character tothe side of the bike. Thestainless steel silencer featuresan aluminium end plate. Theshape is original, but the soundis the much loved, intense,deep throb of Moto Guzzi.Exhaust emissions areextremely low and conform toEuro 3/CARB standards.

Under the super-sleek tail liesan absolutely stunning taillight. Three high intensity LEDsguarantee excellent passivevisibility but, because theyproject on the reflector, aretotally invisible from theoutside. The lens bears thesymbol of the Moto Guzzi eagle.

The super-practical PVC and nylon tank bag storesimportant items where you can keep an eye onthem and retrieve them quickly when needed. Thebag fits the sleek forms of the Griso’s tank like aglove. TANK BAG

Developed to match the Griso luggage rack kit, thebag is made in nylon and PVC with rainproof cover,and can be easily attached and removed, becominga useful shoulder bag. Its capacity is about 10 litres(2.3 gallons) and can expand to 15 (3.4 gallons).
