NOTE: Do not put dental guard in a cup of cool water more than once.

During this time, use the thumb and forefinger of each hand, shape the dental guard around your upper teeth and up to the gum line by pinching evenly around the arch from the front teeth to the molars.

STEP 2: Pick a Heating Method:Heating Method 1: Microwave Dental Guard in Water

A. What You Will Need to Begin:• Water (Do not use distilled water!)• Metal fork• Mirror• Timer or clock indicating seconds• Small plate• Microwave or stove• Microwaveable bowl or stove pot

B. Insert the dental guard into the tray byplacing the flat side of the guard againstthe tray, with the “channel” side up. Pushfront of dental guard fully under retaininglatch.

C. While looking in a mirror, practice positioning the tray loaded with the dental protector in your mouth.

I. Pinch the Width Adjustment Tabs to find an appropriate fit.

II. Use the Center Alignment Guide as a “stopper,” ensuring your front teeth are as close as possible to the front of the dental guard.

III. Also, use the Center Alignment Guide to align the loaded tray to the middle of your front two teeth.

INDICATIONS FOR USE: This dental guard is indicated for protection against bruxism or nighttime teeth grinding. The device is intended to reduce damage to teeth and prevent noise associated with bruxing or grinding.

WARNINGSDo Not Use:• If you are under 18 years of age• If you wear braces or other dental appliances• If you have loose teeth• If you have been diagnosed with temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ) problems or

severe tooth clenching or grinding• If you are currently experiencing pain in the mouth or jaw because of tooth

clenching or grinding• As an athletic mouth guard; the dental protector does not absorb shock• As a device for the treatment of snoring or sleep apnea• For more than 3 months from initial use without consulting your dentist. See

your dentist every 6 months thereafter while using this product.

ASK A DENTIST BEFORE USE IF YOU HAVE:• Loose caps or fillings, or cavities without fillings• Clicking of your jaw• Pain in your teeth, jaw, face, or if you have trouble chewing• Two or more missing teeth• Sores in your mouth• Disease or bleeding of the gums• Serious breathing, respiratory, or other health problems

DISCONTINUE USE AND CONSULT A DENTIST IF:• The same symptoms continue after several weeks of use• The dental protector easily falls out of your mouth• The dental protector is uncomfortable or causes you to gag• You have soreness, bleeding, or other reaction inside of your mouth• You notice new symptoms such as pain in your jaw, teeth, ear, neck stiffness,

headache, or joint clicking after using the dental protector• You have soreness, bleeding, or other reaction inside of your mouth• You notice new symptoms such as pain in your jaw, teeth, ear, neck stiffness,

1. Measure 1 cup (8 oz) of cool water and pour into microwave safe bowl. Do not use distilled water. Place the loaded fitting tray face down in the water and heat on high for 2 minutes (for low wattage microwaves heat for 3 minutes, 15 seconds).

3. Place the metal fork through the Hook and remove the loaded tray from the boiling water. Place the loaded tray channel-side up on the small plate for 30 seconds to cool. Do not touch while it cools.

2. Remove the bowl of water from the microwave. Bowl may be hot. Use caution when removing.

STEP 2: Pick a Heating Method continued:Heating Method 2: Boil Water Separately

1. Using a stovetop, bring water to a full rolling boil and let boil for 1 minute. Do not use distilled water.

2. With the dental protector inserted into the tray, drop into the boiling water, with the top (channel) side of the tray down and boil for EXACTLY 60 seconds.

STEP 3: Bite & Shape:A. Place the dental guard on your upper teeth. Without

biting down:

1. Hold the tray by the handle and insert into your mouth with the “channel” side up.

2. Use the Width Adjustment Tabs to find an appropriate fit.

3. Use a mirror and the CenterAlignment Guide to position the dental protector in the middle of your two front teeth. Position the tips of your front teeth as close as possible to the front of the channel, using the Center Alignment Guide as a stopper.

C. After shaping, maintain the dental guard in position for 30 seconds before removing.

D. Once a good fit has been achieved, remove the loaded tray from your mouth and place it in a cup of cool water for 30 seconds to allow the impression to set. (Note: If you are not satisfied with the fit, DO NOT place dental guard in a cup of cool water. Please see below.) Remove from water, then remove the dental protector from the tray by gently pulling the ends from each side of the fitting tray, working towards the front. Note the dental guard may feel slightly sticky during this process. Once you are satisfied with the fit, dispose of the tray. Do not use the dental guard while loaded in the tray.

1. Measure 1 cup (8 oz) of cool water and pour into microwave safe bowl. Do not use distilled water. Place the loaded fitting tray face down in the water and heat on high for 2 minutes (for low wattage microwaves heat for 3 minutes, 15 seconds).

3. Place the metal fork through the Hook and remove the loaded tray from the boiling water. Place the loaded tray channel-side up on the small plate for 30 seconds to cool. Do not touch while it cools.

2. Remove the bowl of water from the microwave. Bowl may be hot. Use caution when removing.

1. Using a stovetop, bring water to a full rolling boil and let boil for 1 minute. Do not use distilled water.

2. With the dental protector inserted into the tray, drop into the boiling water, with the top (channel) side of the tray down and boil for EXACTLY 60 seconds.

STEP 3: Bite & Shape:A. Place the dental guard on your upper teeth. Without

biting down:

1. Hold the tray by the handle and insert into your mouth with the “channel” side up.

2. Use the Width Adjustment Tabs to find an appropriate fit.

3. Use a mirror and the CenterAlignment Guide to position the dental protector in the middle of your two front teeth. Position the tips of your front teeth as close as possible to the front of the channel, using the Center Alignment Guide as a stopper.

1. Measure 1 cup (8 oz) of cool water and pour into microwave safe bowl. Do not use distilled water. Place the loaded fitting tray face down in the water and heat on high for 2 minutes (for low wattage microwaves heat for 3 minutes, 15 seconds).

3. Place the metal fork through the Hook and remove the loaded tray from the boiling water. Place the loaded tray channel-side up on the small plate for 30 seconds to cool. Do not touch while it cools.

2. Remove the bowl of water from the microwave. Bowl may be hot. Use caution when removing.

STEP 2: Pick a Heating Method continued:Heating Method 2: Boil Water Separately

1. Using a stovetop, bring water to a full rolling boil and let boil for 1 minute. Do not use distilled water.

2. With the dental protector inserted into the tray, drop into the boiling water, with the top (channel) side of the tray down and boil for EXACTLY 60 seconds.

STEP 3: Bite & Shape:A. Place the dental guard on your upper teeth. Without

biting down:

1. Hold the tray by the handle and insert into your mouth with the “channel” side up.

2. Use the Width Adjustment Tabs to find an appropriate fit.

3. Use a mirror and the CenterAlignment Guide to position the dental protector in the middle of your two front teeth. Position the tips of your front teeth as close as possible to the front of the channel, using the Center Alignment Guide as a stopper.

C. After shaping, maintain the dental guard in position for 30 seconds before removing.

D. Once a good fit has been achieved, remove the loaded tray from your mouth and place it in a cup of cool water for 30 seconds to allow the impression to set. (Note: If you are not satisfied with the fit, DO NOT place dental guard in a cup of cool water. Please see below.) Remove from water, then remove the dental protector from the tray by gently pulling the ends from each side of the fitting tray, working towards the front. Note the dental guard may feel slightly sticky during this process. Once you are satisfied with the fit, dispose of the tray. Do not use the dental guard while loaded in the tray.

B. Insert the dental guard into the tray byplacing the flat side of the guard againstthe tray, with the “channel” side up. Pushfront of dental guard fully under retaininglatch.

C. While looking in a mirror, practice positioning the tray loaded with the dental protector in your mouth.

II. Use the Center Alignment Guide as a “stopper,” ensuring your front teeth are as close as possible to the front of the dental guard.

III. Also, use the Center Alignment Guide to align the loaded tray to the middle of your front two teeth.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Measure 1 cup (8 oz) of cool water and pour into microwave safe bowl. Do not use distilled water. Place the loaded fitting tray face down in the water and heat on high for 2 minutes (for low wattage microwaves heat for 3 minutes, 15 seconds).

3. Place the metal fork through the Hook and remove the loaded tray from the boiling water. Place the loaded tray channel-side up on the small plate for 30 seconds to cool. Do not touch while it cools.

2. Remove the bowl of water from the microwave. Bowl may be hot. Use caution when removing.

STEP 2: Pick a Heating Method continued:Heating Method 2: Boil Water Separately

1. Using a stovetop, bring water to a full rolling boil and let boil for 1 minute. Do not use distilled water.

2. With the dental protector inserted into the tray, drop into the boiling water, with the top (channel) side of the tray down and boil for EXACTLY 60 seconds.

STEP 3: Bite & Shape:A. Place the dental guard on your upper teeth. Without

biting down:

1. Hold the tray by the handle and insert into your mouth with the “channel” side up.

2. Use the Width Adjustment Tabs to find an appropriate fit.

3. Use a mirror and the CenterAlignment Guide to position the dental protector in the middle of your two front teeth. Position the tips of your front teeth as close as possible to the front of the channel, using the Center Alignment Guide as a stopper.

C. After shaping, maintain the dental guard in position for 30 seconds before removing.

D. Once a good fit has been achieved, remove the loaded tray from your mouth and place it in a cup of cool water for 30 seconds to allow the impression to set. (Note: If you are not satisfied with the fit, DO NOT place dental guard in a cup of cool water. Please see below.) Remove from water, then remove the dental protector from the tray by gently pulling the ends from each side of the fitting tray, working towards the front. Note the dental guard may feel slightly sticky during this process. Once you are satisfied with the fit, dispose of the tray. Do not use the dental guard while loaded in the tray.

3. Place the metal fork through the Hook and remove the loaded tray from the bowl of water. Place the loaded tray channel-side up on the small plate for 30 seconds to cool. Do not touch while it cools.

NOTE: Do not put dental guard in a cup of cool water more than once.

During this time, use the thumb and forefinger of each hand, shape the dental guard around your upper teeth and up to the gum line by pinching evenly around the arch from the front teeth to the molars.

A. What You Will Need to Begin:• Water (Do not use distilled water!)• Metal fork• Mirror• Timer or clock indicating seconds• Small plate• Microwave or stove• Microwaveable bowl or stove pot

B. Insert the dental guard into the tray byplacing the flat side of the guard againstthe tray, with the “channel” side up. Pushfront of dental guard fully under retaininglatch.

C. While looking in a mirror, practice positioning the tray loaded with the dental protector in your mouth.

I. Pinch the Width Adjustment Tabs to find an appropriate fit.

II. Use the Center Alignment Guide as a “stopper,” ensuring your front teeth are as close as possible to the front of the dental guard.

III. Also, use the Center Alignment Guide to align the loaded tray to the middle of your front two teeth.
