CITY OF GRETNA LEGALS On motion by Councilman Rau and seconded by Councilman Crosby, the following resolution was offered: RESOLUTION NO. 2015-033 A resolution adopting Year 2015 millage rates for the City of Gretna, Louisiana at 50.55 mills on all properties except the Timberlane Subdivision and 29.95 mills on all properties located in the Timberlane Subdivision pursuant to Article VII Section 23(C) of the Constitution of the State of Louisiana and Revised Statute 47:1705(B). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Gretna, Louisiana, acting as governing authority of said City that the following millage(s) are hereby levied on the 2015 tax roll on all property subject to taxation by the City of Gretna, Louisiana. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper administrative officials of the City of Gretna, State of Louisiana, be and they are hereby empowered, authorized, and directed to spread said taxes, as hereinabove set forth, upon the assessment roll of the said municipality for the year 2015, and to make the collection of the taxes imposed for and on behalf of the taxing authority, according to law, and that the taxes herein levied shall become a permanent lien and privilege on all property subject to taxation as herein set forth, and collection thereof shall be enforceable in the manner provided by law.     Sealed bids will be received by the Mayors Office of the City of Gretna, Louisiana for One (1) NEW Hometown Trolley Villager 26 passenger with Rear Porch, ADA Accessible or Equal. Porch, ADA Accessible or Equal.

    Bids will be received in City Hall, 740 Second Street, Gretna, Louisiana, 70053 or electronically through website www.publicpurchase.com until 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after closing time will be returned unopened.

    Copies of specifications and other contract documents are on file at the City Hall in Gretna, Louisiana, and are open for public inspection.

    No bid may be withdrawn for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
