 Minatec: Europe’s top center for micro- nanoelectronics innovation. 4,000 jobs, 10,000 sq m of clean room space, an investment of €1 billion over five years. Minatec is at the heart of the GIANT program, which will enlarge its scope and reach out to life sciences and energy and consolidate a world class multidisciplinary campus and urban lab.

 ST/IBM CMos Technology Alliance: a new partnership starting in 2008 on 32 and 22 nm CMos technologies.

 Minalogic: World-class competitiveness cluster. Close to 200 members to merge chips and software, develop smart miniaturized solutions.

 SEMI: The global industry association serving the manufacturing supply chain for the micro- nanoelectronics industries. SEMI opened an office in Grenoble in 2010.

 Grenoble-Dresden partnership: A joint force for European competitiveness. A cooperation to promote the excellence of the microelectronics industry in Europe.

 Silicon Europe: Through this new Cluster Alliance, Grenoble-Isère is uniting with three of the leading micro- nanoelectronics regions in Europe: Silicon Saxony; DSP Valley; Holland High Tech.
