Our new parish community was conceived in the mind of Bishop John Nevins in the fall of 2001. Father Charles Sullivan was chosen to be the pastor. After an exhaustive search, Joseph and Roberta Noonan, through their kindness and love offered to share the gymnasium of their excellent school for our worship space. Our first Mass was celebrated there on Saturday, January 12, 2002.

Parish HistoryPlans for the new church were undertaken almost immediately after our first weekend of liturgies. On March 1, 2002, we were canonically erected as a parish. On June 20, 2002 plans for the new church building were put on display and shared for the first time with our parishioners.

Has it been a while since you have been in church? Are your students asking you questions that you do not know the answers for?
The old saying, “If you don’t use it, you lose it” holds true even to our religious education. Workshops are offered to refresh and teach new ideas and techniques for our Catechists. What you learn from these workshops can be applied in the classroom and your personal life. Please join us in our next workshop.
