MOPS Sunday and Fundraiser Luncheon - Today is MOPS Sunday and our MOPS group is hosting a fundraising luncheon of soup, sandwiches, chips and desserts. Thanks for supporting this important ministry!

Youth Life Group - The Youth Life Group will meet February 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Nate McPeak’s house.

February Donations for House to Home - Winter is a critical time for the services offered by House to Home. If you are able to bring any of the following it will help: styrofoam cups, plastic forks and spoons, paper plates, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee creamer, sugar, large round coffee filters, laundry detergent, ramen noodles, soups or beans in pop-top cans, men's shoes, blankets, pillows, sheets and pots and pans.

Women’s Care Center - The Women’s Care Center is once again having their Baby Bottle Boomerang. If you would like to participate in this ministry of life, pick up a baby bottle in the Narthex. Throughout the month, put your spare change or dollars in your bottle or make a one-time donation by cash or check and return your bottles to the church office by next Sunday, February 16th.

God and Country Concert - The EBC Singers, comprised of chancel members and singers from the area, are performing in Carnegie Hall on February 17 under the direction of composer, Joseph Martin. The group will perform their concert repertoire for the community today at 2:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. All are welcome to attend.

Tuesday Fellowship - We will meet February 11 in the Fellowship Hall with a representative from Obermeyers Florist coming to show us how to put together a beautiful flower arrangement. We will have a tasty luncheon as well as games and door prizes. Please sign up in today’s bulletin! Bring a friend!

Chili Cook-Off and Potato Bar - The competition is heating up!! Our first annual church-wide chili cook-off and potato bar is set for Sunday, February 23. This event is sponsored by our Adult and Youth Ministry teams to bring our church family together. We have the maximum amount of chefs entered into our contest, so we invite you to attend and help judge. Please see the insert in today’s bulletin and sign up today!

Women’s Bible Study - The Women’s Bible Study is starting a new book “Anxious for Nothing” by Max Lucado. They meet Monday at noon in the Conference Room if you would like to join them.

Wednesday Hall Monitors - We are looking for a few people to volunteer as Hall Monitors on Wednesday evenings at the church from 6-7:30 p.m. to help process people during Awana, Choir, GriefShare, etc. See Pastor Kurt if you are interested.

GriefShare - GriefShare will start a new session on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:00 p.m. GriefShare is a 13 week Bible-based support group designed for those who are experiencing grief. Grief is generally connected to a death but many life events can lead to grief: death of a loved one, loss of a job, change of residence, retirement, etc. Gail Samolitis will be leading Grief Share. If you are interested in attending Grief Share, please call Gail at (304)-588-7632 or call the church office.

Women’s Camp 2020 - Emmanuel Ladies, are you ready for a weekend away in one of West Virginia’s beautiful “spa resorts”? Women’s Camp 2020 at Camp Cowen will be held March 27-29, 2020 and will be filled with Bible study, worship, fellowship and laughs. The $45 cost also includes gourmet Camp Cowen meals served in a waterfront dining atmosphere; rustic cabin accommodations; a soft T-shirt; and breathtaking, self guided, nature walks. You will return home feeling rejuvenated in your faith and spirit. Registration forms are available on the Ministry Table. Preregistration forms are due March 13, 2020. Scholarships are available. Scholarship Girl Program - The ABW of WV offers a scholarship program for graduating high school seniors and college students. Deadline to enter is March 1, 2020.
