Intense Pulsed Light is a method of permanent hair reduction using a focused broad spectrum light.

The light is applied to the skin using a handheld device which then sends a shot of light and heat down into the hair bulb. This particular area is where the highest concentration of melanin is contained. The intense heat which has now been converted to heat energy, will help kill the hair bulb, hair shaft and the entire hair follicle, permanently.
