Betsy Jordan, a longtime resident of GT, has been recognized for her many

years of service at the Memorial Day

ceremonies of The Plantation’s Memorial

Park. Her name is listed as Betsy Jordan Ross because

she carried a replica of Betsy Ross’s “1776 flag”. She also created and wore authentic dress for the role.
