Greening Your Nursery When getting the nursery ready- choose paints that are labeled low or no VOC’s For baby’s clothes- look for organic fabrics, minimize clothing with flame retardant chemicals Use only glass bottles- even BPA-free bottles have some "plasticizers” that are of concern Look for mattresses and bedding that is organic or formaldehyde-free When buying infant care products- look for lotions, soaps and shampoos that are as natural as possible, with a smaller list of ingredients, and without fragrances, parabens, phthalates, preservatives or dyes.
