Charleston Port Field Trip

We enjoyed our visit to the Wando Welch Terminal coordinated by the Atlanta Maritime Association.

We traveled from Atlanta to Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Our group included other forwarders, truckers, and even a state employee.

After we arrived, we made a brief visit to historic downtown Charleston.

On day two we saw a presentation about the future plans for the port and had a tour of the terminal.

Seeing the everyday activities at the port helped to put our daily work responsibilities into perspective.

We would like to thank Green, the AMA, and the Charleston port for such a fun and informative trip.
