He is a 2004 graduate of Concordia University in Seward Nebraska. He has a BS in Secondary Educaon with Physics and Mathemacs as well as a BS in Middle School Math and minor in Middle School Physics. Dixon graduated from Zion Lutheran and Lutheran High School in St. Charles. Please keep Mr. Dixon and his family in your prayers as he prayerfully considers a move from Springfield, Illinois. Just Me Apparel: Monday, April 30 (2:30-5:30pm): JMA has all of your uniform needs (from our uniform plaid skorts, jumpers, matching hair apparel, shirts, pullovers, sweatshirts, sweaters & more) Both companies offer website ordering and school delivery throughout the year, but its very helpful to aend one of the fing dates or stop by their store locaons for accurate sizing and ordering. We have a resale rack of gently used uniform items located in our teacher workroom. We accept uniform shirts, sweatshirts, and plaid skorts and jumpers. Some items may have a small purchase price and others are donated with love. If you have any quesons about our Uniform Dress Code, Fing Days, etc., please contact Mrs. Pfund in the school office. SPRING PICTURE DAY - FRIDAY, APRIL 6 Spring Picture Day is coming Friday, April 6. All students will have their picture taken. Inter-state Studios will send picture proofs about two weeks after picture day. Proofs will be sent home with students along with an order form so parents can preview the poses. Purchasing is optional. If you don’t wish to order, simply return the proof to the school office. Dress code for Spring Picture Day has not yet been determined. Stay tuned!

SCRIP NEWS The next Scrip Order will be entered on Friday, April 6, with a delivery date of Friday, April 13.

Scrip Profit Sheets went home last week to families who have earned at least $10 in Scrip Credits. Please return the forms by Tuesday, April 3. If you do not wish to use your Scrip Credits at this time, they will rollover to next year.

Please note, Dierbergs and Shop ‘n Save gift cards are available for purchase in the school office. The cards can be purchased in denominations of $25 or $100.

GREEN PARK VOLUNTEER PROGRAM Green Park is looking to develop a list of volunteers that could be called upon from time to time to help in different areas. To begin this process we are looking for volunteers that might be able to assist teachers/staff and building/grounds needs. We are looking for parents and/or grandparents of current or previous Green Park students, as well as members of our congregations that would like to help. FEBRUARY & MARCH CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR BETHLEHEM LUTHERAN CHURCH Our February and March chapel offerings are going to support Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at North Florissant and Salisbury Street in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Besides worship services, they offer many programs to the surrounding neighborhood. They offer basketball, cheerleading, Jr. Youth, Bible Outreach, choirs and Taking Jesus to the Streets celebrations. They also offer an after school program for The Arch Community School, a St. Louis charter school housed in Bethlehem’s school building. Through all of these programs, they share the good news of Jesus and His salvation. Please help us support their important ministry!

PEACE LUTHERAN OFFERING SUMMER CAMP The Peace Early Childhood Department is again offering a Summer Camp for kids for ages 5 - 12. Monday through Friday, from 6:00am-6:00pm. CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS AT LUTHERAN SOUTH Are you an 8th grade girl with lots of cheer? Lutheran South will be hosting Cheerleading tryouts for the 2018-19 Season. Clinics will be April 9 and 10 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with tryouts on April 12 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. It is required that you attend all three of these dates!
