CHESS GRAND MASTERS: INTUITIVE ABILITY TO HIGHLY CREATIVE MOVES

Once the opponent has made his move, 3 out of 4 times a grandmaster's eyes start at the BEST move which he examines. Then he studies/ evaluates other moves to return (3 out of 4 times) to the initial move he considered first.

The grandmaster is not distinguished fromthe expert by the number of moves he "looks ahead" (both the grandmaster and the expert look ahead only two or three moves, with a maximum of five).

CHESS GRANDMASTERS: THEIR GREAT ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE PATTERNS

Grand-masters can look at the twentieth position in a grand-masters chess match for five seconds and then reproduce it almost perfectly, with approximately 90% accuracy.

Experts and novices cannot do that.

Μόλις ο αντίπαλος έχει κάνει την κίνησή του, σε 3 από 4 φορές τα μάτια του grand master ξεκινούν από την κάλλιστη κίνηση που αρχίζει να εξετάζει. Στην συνέχεια σπουδάζει/αξιολογεί άλλες κινήσεις για να επιστρέψει (3 από 4 φορές) στην αρχική κίνηση που είχε εξετάσει πρώτα.

Ο Grand master δεν διαφέρει από τον εμπειρογνώμονα στον αριθμό των κινήσεων που «βλέπει μπροστά» (τόσο ο grand master όσο και ο εμπειρογνώμονας «βλέπουν μπροστά» μόνο δύο ή τρείς κινήσεις με ανώτατο όριο πέντε), στη νοημοσύνη, ή την φωτογραφική μνήμη.
