Ford’s mid-1950s pick-ups have attained classic status – that is, as far as street rodders are concerned! Little did the designers and engineers of these enduring workhorses know that their trucks would be customized and painted in every way imaginable nearly 60 years after their original release. Kit features a detailed 5.0-liter V-8 engine with fuel injection, a contemporarily styled interior, soft black tires, chrome-plated accessories and decals with colorful custom graphics.

Today, the 1956 Chevy Bel Air sport coupe is widely recognized as a Chevy classic and remains popular with collectors around the world. For this model, many modifi cations were made to the Chevy V-8 engine, turning it into one of the most popular high-performance engines ever made. Kit features a replica Corvette V-8 engine with dual four-barrel carbs and an optional supercharger, soft black tires, chrome-plated accessories, bucket seats, roll bar, alloy wheels and decals with colorful custom graphics.

Back in 1987, the Buick Grand National was the fastest U.S. production car on the market. Its turbo-charged V-6 engine was originally designed for high-speed racing. The Grand National was painted in all black, turning a personal luxury car into a high-performance thoroughbred! Kit features a highly detailed V-6 engine and chassis with dual exhaust, an authentic stock interior, engine detailing decals, soft black tires, chrome-plated accessories, unique Grand National stock accessories and more.

In 1954, Creature from the Black Lagoon was fi rst released upon an unsuspecting public. Filmed in 3-D, the now-classic creature feature was directed by Jack Arnold (who also directed The Incredible Shrinking Man and It Came from Outer Space) and starred Richard Carlson, Julia Adams and Richard Denning. The fi lm was so successful that it spawned two sequels, 1955’s Revenge of the Creature and 1956’s The Creature Walks Among Us. Kit features a fi nely sculpted head, hands and feet, a coastline display base with rocks, water, a snake and lizard.

With the 1937 Ford Pickup, the company started to give their trucks their own styling different from their popular car line. A completely redesigned cab, a new grille and a split windshield helped Ford outperform their competition. Kit features a choice of stock fl athead V-8 or custom manifold with dual carbs and high-compression heads, a choice of vintage truck wheels and tires or steel wheels with dog dish hub caps, plus optional headlights, a lowered suspension, decals and more.

Chevrolet decided to tone down the outrageous styling which marked their 1959 Impala for 1960’s model, creating another classic in the process. It quickly became a favorite of custom builders and street racers alike – this Impala’s still popular 50 years since its original release! Kit features a detailed engine, an opening hood and trunk, a detailed interior, custom headlights, an optional stock suspension and wheels, a lowered suspension with custom wheels, soft black tires, chrome-plated accessories and decals with a choice of stock factory and colorful custom graphics.

Introduced in 1970, the non-rally version of the Opel Ascona (the Ascona A) was released in two- and four-door sedan models by General Motors. The second-generation Ascona B inspired the famous Ascona 400 rally car. It included a 2.4-liter engine, which was capable of delivering a staggering 230 hp. In 1982, driver Walter Rohrl took the Ascona 400 to a stunning victory. It was the last rear wheel drive rally car to win the World Rally Championship. Features super-fi ne details, an authentically printed design and an individually painted driver fi gure.

Since public safety during rally championships was no longer guaranteed, Audi withdrew from the Rally World Championships in 1986. With its unique fi ns and striking design, the Audi quattro Sport S1 was still being driven for other races. It made a noteworthy return to the spotlight in 1988, when Finnish driver Juha Kankkunen won the fi rst Race of Champions. Revell Germany’s special edition slot car features super-fi ne details, including an authentically painted trim scheme, an individually painted driver fi gure and compatibility with virtually every commercial slot car system.
