Information for Teachers and Group LeadersMany of our group packages have been designed with educational groups in mind (see in our attractions section) and we’re keen to make the planning of your trip as easy as possible. Please feel free to contact us if we can customise your booking in any way.

Access for AllDisabled passengers are welcome on all of our group packages,but group organisers should be aware that there are some access restrictions on some of our cruises. Groups with wheelchair users are advised to contact us to confirm which vessel is operating which service.

l One adult leader travels free for every six children (Key Stage 1 groups).

l One adult leader travels free for every ten children (Key Stage 2 groups).

l Pre-visits are more than welcome at all of the attractions,enabling you to judge the suitability of your chosen packagefor your group - call us for more information.

l Risk assessments are available for all of our cruises. These can bedownloaded fromwww.windermere-lakecruises.co.uk/groups

l Our larger vessels called ‘steamers’ are wheelchair accessible but the on-board toiletscan only be reached by stairs. There are however adapted toilets at Lakeside,Ambleside and Bowness piers.

l The main saloons are accessible on Teal and Swan but not on Tern, although there is ampleundercover accommodation on board.
