Gratitude is a feeling, or spirit, of recognition for what and who you feel appreciative of.
Research on gratitude is still in the early stages. We know people who practice gratitude are more optimistic, loving and forgiving. They have better health, less illness and exercise more. One study showed they report a 25% higher quality of life.
Creating a practical gratitude exercise for yourself on a daily basis is a powerful personal growth tool for a life filled with peace and joy.

• The following pages present an opportunity for you to experience the changes that gratitude can generate in your daily life.
• As you record all the things you are grateful for
having, for experiencing, for seeing and hearing, you will become aware of all the precious people and the priceless moments that exist in your world.
• Dealing with problems and issues from day to
day can lead us into a mindless autopilot lifestyle that we do not even realize is upon us. While unpleasant events and situations still need to be dealt with, we should try not to become too consumed by their impact.
• By intentionally focusing on the positive realities day by day, we modify our attitude and thinking to recognize just how much we truly have to be thankful for.
• Using this exercise may help improve your overall health and wellness as well as your relationships.

•The true influence of gratitude cannot be described nearly as well as it can be experienced. An awareness can be cultivated into your being, your daily lifestyle and your awakened world. •This workbook is intended to record eight weeks of five gratitude entries per day. •Start with little things that you notice such as the comfort of your bed, an open parking spot near the door or the leaves budding on the trees after winter turns to spring. •Perhaps a huge event happens in your day that you are grateful for – that’s great, however, you will still need to be aware of four more entries. If you look hard enough every day, you will find five experiences. •Discover the Gratitude Experience today to see the difference that this little, yet powerful, personal wellness exercise can do for you!
