9-12 graders
•Students will learn and apply fundamentals of various software applications (Adobe
InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) for image editing, drawing and graphic animation to create advertising and marketing projects and coordinate technical skills with organization,
management,communication, ethics and teamwork.
ACC Articulated credit (3 hours credit-in-escrow)Adobe Certified Associate certification
Commercial PhotographyPrerequisite: Graphic Design or Art I
• Honors, Weighted Credit, Yearlong, 1 credit
10-12 Graders
• Students learn basic photography techniques, and how to use advanced photo editing
software (Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop).Students learn food photography, fashion photography, sports photography, and much more.
Yearbook 1, 2 and 3Prerequisite Yearbook I – Graphic Design or Commercial Photography
Yearbook II – Yearbook I/Yearbook III – Yearbook II
•Honors, Weighted Credit, Articulated, yearlong, 1 or 2 credit
10-12 graders
• Students will create the yearbook by taking or gathering photos, interviewing and writing copy for pages. Editors are in charge of monitoring staff members’ work and meeting deadlines.
