“Never” wants to convey the feeling that resides deep in my heart. The first work is “Never Enough”, using the sky to represent the immense world which we will never reach the end. Therefore, we have to keep on learning and going. The second work is “Never Afraid”. People are always afraid of night and darkness. However, we still have to face it, and it is impossible that there is a day without a night.

However, we still have to face the music and overcome any critical condition. Also we have to hold a positive attitude toward our life. Maybe it is a task for us to grow, and so we have to beat the disease.

Design is overwhelming in our daily life, and it can gradually become a burden for us. These two images tell people less is more. If we think twice before doing everything, it will prevent fighting from happening. If we think twice before shopping, we will buy the things that we really need.

Classical music has a glorious history. By using the old texture and modern text I display a style, which is a combination of ancient and modern things. The silhouette of violin is the focus of the image.

In these series of work I want to convey that

throughout modernization the society became so

indifferent and chaotic. Worsen still, technology devices have replaced a lot of functions in our

life, and everyone works for profit.


06MONEYATTACK


Money is the most destructive weapon in the world, especially the American dollar. American dollar is just like a weapon that has an influence all over the world, although it does not do any attack in reality. For example, the stock market is failing, and all the countries will fall under its influence.


07DEADFINI-TION


Deadfinition is the work to define what is death and life. There are three different aspects. It is pointed out in the first work that death and life are demarcated by a line, and it is easy to get past the line. It is pointed out in the second work that death and life make a cycle, indicating there is a time for the living and the dead. It is pointed out in the third that death and life are just like a formula, meaning that if we keep the memory and love of our beloved the dead ones still live in our minds.

It is hard to define what is ugly and what is beautiful. Although these flowers seem to be beautiful, it is made of garbage. Therefore, we can not judge a person by his appearance.

These are a series of environment signs designed for the Taipei Jhong Jheng sports center. I chose the towel as the element of the signs, because towel is the object that everyone will carry while they are exercising.

This is a brochure for a Catholic activity. In the beginning, the Father asked me to design it for the teenagers. Therefore, I add some bright color and the element of pop arts into the cover, changing the feeling of the serious ceremony. Besides, I designed a tummy band, which contains the information of the ceremony. There is a map and transportation information on the back.

Childhood is the happiest time in our life. I used the things that we like when we were kids to create four patterns as color papers. These color papers make all things cheerful.


This is my personal CI. The whole concept is the zip. In my opinion, a designer should always give people surprise. I wish my design could attract people. At the side of the envelope, there is a rip line to help people easily to open. The handle of the paper bag is made by the real zip.

The theme of this concert is about transformation. Therefore, I want to display a movement on the still picture as the main concept of this poster. The performer was my roommate in University. I discussed with him, and want to catch the different stages of transformation.


14OUT OF RULES


2009

This poster was designed for the joint exhibition of the handicapped students. The main idea of the exhibition is that these students should free themselves of the limitations of their body, and expresses their fantastic ideas. Just like the portrait in famous paintings, they are incarcerated in the frame, and can not do any thing. Therefore, I assemble the cut-down pictures and this symbolized that they are out of rule.

This is a brain storming project called “zen”, and the paper originally contains a lot of dots. I added in the top view of a city. Actually, my inner mind is just like a city, and it works busily everyday. Moreover, I turn the poster into a DM, inviting people to explore my inner world.

In this DM, I use the simple way to edit it, and keep it clean. Just like the style of north European always makes us feel simple and transparent. I brought this style into this furniture DM. For the front, there is a ruler, and can do some measurement. Moreover, I focused on the graphic and text editing on the back.


17SPIRITCURE

I use the concept of Chinese herbal medicine in this work. Different medicine functions in different ways, and so I represent traditional medicine with modern things, and turn it into funny illustrations. In fact, concern from good friends is like a good medicine, because that can heal our heart. In this work, I design envelope, letter, and small presents such as candy that can give our friends to show our concern.

I use the sexual symbol to represent love. Besides, love does not discriminate sexual orientation. The gay marriage was permitted in New York this year. Therefore, every people can use their way to show their love in New York.

In this photo I used the calligraphy as the pattern on model’s dress, and used the rice paper to make the cloth. Moreover, red is the color that has strong feeling of Chinese style. In the end, I put the status in the scene that can interact with model.

This work is about using image to convey the feeling of the sound. I cut the characters from magazines and newspapers to collage into a piece. In my opinion, sound is represented as words spoken, and the characters represent the sound. The nine images are the sound of frustration, indigestion, barnyard, rejection, avalanche, guillotine, birthday party, a habit, and subway.

This is a music video, describing a story that a girl wants to find out the memory that has been forgotten for a long time. Therefore, in this video I overlaid different images to bring out the feeling of fantasy. Finally, she sat on the swing, and remembered the boy that she first met on the seaside. .

We are always not satisfied with our appearance, and therefore plastic surgery is popular nowadays. Organ vending machine is from the idea of plastic surgery, and it enables everyone to choose their organ randomly. However, they do not know that the organs in this machine are recycled. In other words, they choose the organs that others have abandoned.
