PRAYER REqUEST LINESPrayer Requests: 672.1838

Prayer Appointments: 672.1848Congregational Care Assistant Tammy Burkhalter: 672.0327

Beth Simmons and her husband, Chuck, both grew up at First Presbyterian Church. They have been married for 25 years and have three children. Beth and Chuck have served as youth advisors and teachers throughout their marriage, and share their passion for marriages and families in work with the FamilyLife marriage ministry.

Women’s ministry Fall Luncheontuesday, October 25

12:00–1:00pm in Fellowship HallBeth Simmons will speak on “Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus in a Hurting World—a close-up Look at missional ministry.”

What is “Missional Ministry”? And what does it look like to be “the hands and feet of Jesus” in a hurting world? As women of God—women of all ages—it’s important to recognize and understand that every one of us is in full-time ministry. We are each full-time missionaries in life, whether we’re involved in an organized ministry or just passing someone in the hall or on the street. Becoming “missional” involves praying together for the Lord to open our eyes to the needs of His people around us—wherever we are.

Life is His mission field and we don’t want to miss it! cost is $7. Reservations are required by October 18.

Register online at FirstPresGreenville.org/womensministries.htm or contact Charlotte Joye at 672.0309 or [email protected].

For nursery reservations, contact Evelyn Penkert at 672.1843 or [email protected].
