sportsIn the Tour de France the rider who finishes last, rather than dropping out along the way, is accorded a distinction. Riders may compete to come last rather than just near the back. Often the rider who comes last is remembered, while those a few places ahead are forgotten. The revenue the last rider will generate from later appearance fees can be greater than had he finished second to last, although this was more true when riders still made much of their income from post-Tour criteria. The phrase referring to the competitor in last place in Tour de France comes from the French words for the object hung on the caboose of a railway train, which conductors would look for in order to make sure none of the couplings had become disconnected. Give the phrase.

Life SciencesThe evidence of this disease was found in the spines of Egyptian mummies thousands of years old. The disease was common both in ancient Greece and imperial Rome. This disease caused organism was first isolated in 1882 by a German physician named Robert Koch who received the Nobel prize for this discovery. A new technology light emitting-diode fluorescence microscopy is used to diagnose this disease. A special type of test called PCR(polymerase chain reaction) detects the genetic material of the disease caused organism. Some 1.8 billion people-a third of world population are infected with this disease and 2-3 million die each year. Identify the disease.

CricketHe was said to be the best all-rounder of his day. He made his first-class debut for Sussex in 1845 aged 18, weighing only 7 stone (45kg). Initially a fast round-arm bowler, his pace slowed in later years. While bowling fast, he took on average nearly 10 wickets in every game. In 1850, playing for the South against the North at Lord's, he took all 10 wickets in the second innings, all clean bowled (still the only instance of all ten wickets being taken "bowled“ in any first-class match). In all, he took 1,109 first-class wickets with a bowling average of 10.32. He was also a fine batsman (4,140 first-class runs with a batting average of 14.12, an average which was very good for the time). He scored only two centuries, the first in 1849 and the second was the only century scored in 1855. Who?
