Adjetive Clauses

How can we identify that?

It will contain a SUBJECT and a VERB It will begin with a relative pronoun* or a relative adverb** It will function as an adjetive, answering the questions What kind? How many? Which one?…

relative pronoun: who, whom, whose, that, or which. relative adverb: when, where, or why.

Whose or Who’s?

They share the same pronunciation thus you must be aware using those either on the writing or on the speaking.

I talked to the guy whose lecture was well valued. Exemplo:

There is a noun after the blank, which gives a tip of possession

I danced with a girl, who’s also taking English class, last nigh at the pub. Exemplo:

who’s -> who is

My professor uploaded the lecture on his blog for that student who’s missed every single class
