“Do everything in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14

Saludos friends, family and church family,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We pray this mission letter finds you well, full of hope, and filled with His Goodness! Please pray with us as we seek to please God and embrace His fulfillment in us. †

August News … This past month began with another new ministry, in the town of El Esfuerzo … a small community in Santo Domingo about 30 minutes from us. 18 children from the EUMC-La Nueva Jerusalén came for music, Bible time and craft. We were thrilled as we had hoped for 7 and were blessed with 18 lively little people who love to sing, hear the Word of God and sit on the floor and make stuff!! This community is not part of the EUMC church we serve in Santo Domingo but a precious little church part of the family of God. The Sunday School-Christian Formation Program at the EUMC-Jesús de

Nazaret continues to grow in number and in knowledge and truth in Him … and with a desire to know and grow more. One of the

greatest blessings is watching those we were each called to teach, teach us. Our little people are praying for others with needs that are incredibly humbling. They are reading their Bibles and raising their little hands to talk about Jesus during their very own time for

Worship. We are ALL growing in faith and love in Jesus … He is

growing some mighty little

disciples. It is a JOY to be part of JOY up close and personal †

We don’t know why God set this life before us and in this place … why He chose us to help disciple these little

people, but we are soo very

humbled for this life of witness to the Gospel here. Most of these

children sleep on dirt floors, have tin and plastic roofs in the blazing sun, bathe, drink, play, wash

clothes and use the bathroom in the same river every day … and they are grateful … they sing and praise God and pray so sweetly. We do believe the world would be a

much better place if we all

were grateful for ALL things in All times, and mean it! These little

ones are grateful for even a little cup of juice and 1 cookie from Sr Robertito and Sharito after

they’ve sung to heaven with their whole hearts. Oh my goodness … it is overwhelming most days … but the Goodness of God washes over

us all. †

cross and to have heard Him say, ‘GO’.” –Oswald Chambers

We praise God from Whom ALL blessings flow. We are soo very grateful for the support we have received and continue to receive in prayers and financial blessings which helps greatly to keep us going in the direction God is moving in our lives … to the places and people He places in our paths. The summer months are tough on most missionaries, on our US churches as well and our finances are lower than normal. As ministry continues to grow in different communities too far and too costly for people to come into town to worship on Sundays we feel led to go to them and that takes lots of prayers and more finances. Please prayerfully consider joining Jesus in His mission alongside us … feeding hungry tummies and sweet little hearts as we ‘be’ the Gospel for the people as empowered by His Spirit. We simply cannot continue in His service here without your prayers and financial partnership and support. God bless the faithful who have kept us going and continue to be blessings in our lives and in the lives we are called to serve and love into the Kingdom together. Thank you!! It is a JOY!!! †
