Different requirements and the use of multiple languages lead to

• difficulty in creating clear documents meeting the demands of all national regulations

• higher effort for the translation.


Master's Certificate| Challenges

• requirements on the information differ widely partly certain information is required / not allowed, e.g. • personal information (birth date/place, gender, nationality) • details about the degree awarded

(total credit points, grade, duration of studies, title of thesis)

• issuance of the master's certificate in a language other than the local language or in more than two languages often problematic

• original signature and stamp are required (copy not allowed), resulting in a significant (time) effort in issuing the documents

• Issues not included in the Master’s Certificate or Transcript of Records: • level of qualification

(levels, official length of programme, access requirements) • contents and result gained (mode of study, programme

requirements, programme details, overall classification, grading scheme)

• function of qualification (access to further study, professional status)

• Repetition of certain issues from the other two documents

• Unavoidable: Clear deadlines and their enforcement
