Faculty of Business Administration The Faculty of Business Administration was established in 1961. In 2002, the Faculty changed its curriculum from Arabic to English. In 2006, it adopted the Credit Hour System. In 2009, it developed a new curriculum which is updated in 2013, to help our graduates leave with high competencies. After earning the bachelor degree, our graduates have an opportunity to take the next steps in their career and earn an MBA, or to look for an academic career by joining the MSc. and PhD programs.Today, the Faculty offers 16 undergraduate and graduate programs in Beirut, Debbieh and Tripoli Campuses. Faculty of Architectural EngineeringThe Faculty of Architectural Engineering was founded in 1962 as the fourth faculty at BAU. Today, the Faculty has two branches; one in Debbieh Campus and the second one in Tripoli Campus. In June 2012, the five year Bachelor Degree program in Architectural Engineering has been awarded unconditional validation for RIBA Part1, for a period of five calendar years.Consistent with the University strategy, the Faculty of Architectural Engineering is committed to delivering a professional architectural education necessary for those seeking to enter the architectural practice. Faculty of PharmacyThe Faculty of Pharmacy at Beirut Arab University was established in 1986 in Beirut Campus. In 2002, the Faculty updated the academic programs and adopted the rules and regulations of the "Credit Hour System". In 2012, the Faculty contacted the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), for the accreditation of the Pharmacy Program who conducted a pre-accreditation visit to the Faculty. The faculty received the final accreditation visit in October 2014.The Faculty of Pharmacy provides high quality pharmacy education and scientific research. The educational program was designed and developed to prepare competent pharmacists able to effectively participate in the advancement of the pharmacy profession, nationally and internationally. Faculty of MedicineThe Faculty of Medicine at Beirut Arab University was established in 1995 in Beirut Campus. It adopted an outcome-based integrated student-centered curriculum where medical students get exposed to clinical settings starting with the first module that gradually increases throughout the six years of study.At the Faculty of Medicine we aim to provide the community with highly qualified, competent, and ethical physicians who can effectively and efficiently cope with the rapid changes in the medical practice and research, and to provide our students with up-to-date core knowledge and skills required for safe practice of medicine, and the ability to pursue postgraduate studies and continuing professional development.

Laboratoriesı Anatomy Lab : Description : Preservation and

keeping of human cadavers. Processing of cadavers. Processing of human organs and body parts.

Preparation of the body parts according to the subject of each lab session.

ı Histology, Pathology, and Parasitology Lab: Description: Teaching micro technique to medical students. Preparation of pathology specimens. Preparation of histopathology slides. Preparation of histology slides. Preparation of slides for research purposes.

ı Physiology Lab: Description: Some routine blood tests (PCV, Hb estimation, ESR, clotting and bleeding time, blood typing, and RBC fragility test). Physiology of the cardiovascular system (Measurement of arterial blood pressure, ECG, heart sounds and effect of muscular exercise). Some Pulmonary function tests (lung volumes and capacities). Examination of the nervous system. Tests for visual acuity and color vision. Tuning fork hearing tests. Assessment of the body weight.

Undergraduate StudentsFinancial AidEvery year, BAU provides direct financial support to students experiencing hardship in the form of tuition fees reductions. Students are required to apply during the period announced by the faculty.Full ScholarshipsBAU annually grants a full scholarship to one of the 10 highest ranking students in each of the four branches of the Lebanese Secondary School Certificate (one from each branch). These students can also benefit from these scholarships during their undergraduate study as long as they get a CGPA of 3.33 or above.Ranking ScholarshipsEach semester, a maximum of five top students, at each level of all undergraduate programs, who have

This deduction is applicable to each one of the siblings. The total deduction of all siblings will not exceed the semester tuition fees of any of the siblings.AwardsEach year, the top graduating student from each

class who scores a CGPA of 3.33 and above and has not failed any course during the enrolment period, receives the Jamal Abdel Nasser Award for Academic Distinction plus a cash prize.

Graduate StudentsScholarshipsTwo Master’s Degree scholarships are annually offered to BAU students who receive the highest CGPA with a minimum of 3.33 in each field of study at the undergraduate level. The scholarship is in the form of a 50% reduction on the program tuition fees, provided that they maintain the same CGPA each year.

Faculty of DentistryThe Faculty of Dentistry at Beirut Arab University was founded in 1995. Faculty of Health SciencesThe Faculty of Health Sciences is the most recent addition to Beirut Arab University. The Faculty was established in Beirut Campus during the academic year 2005 / 2006.The Branch in Tripoli was established in 2010. It offers only 2 majors: Nutrition and Dietetics, and Medical Laboratory Technology.Today, the Faculty offers six undergraduate and graduate programs in Beirut and Tripoli Campuses.Our mission is to promote and maintain the highest level of education through continuous improvement in education, research quality, and community services in the fields of nursing, nutrition and dietetics, medical laboratory technology, and physical therapy. The Faculty offers comprehensive educational programs through varieties of teaching methodology, laboratory, clinical experience, and field training which are culturally and ethically sensitive. Graduates of these programs will be able to function in changing and diversified health care settings. The Faculty provides evidence-based practice according to the highest professional standards by incorporating recent research findings into professional practice.
