• The project was located in Santa Monica and was situated at a corner street

• Our focus was to design a building which could act as an live-in museum

• Utilizing architect Richard Meir’s clean lines and clarity of line weights alongside the concept of Russian deconstructivism, LA’s graffiti art was the inspiration to the entire design

The Portuguese Hall & The Artesia D.E.S. Organizational ProjectArtesia, CA

• The project is located in Los Angeles and is situated within the residential area of mainly Portuguese-Americans

• Our focus was to redesign an existing building that would accommodate a bull-fighting rink as well as the many traditional and growing issues the board members were facing

• Utilizing architect Alvaro Siza’s Setubal College of Education and the concept of a system of forms which collide and create nodes was integrated in the overall design

Project: 3Tijuana Settlements:

designing for the underrepresented/vernacular models of livingTijuana, Mexico

• The project is located in a slum area of Tijuana, Mexico, which is hidden in the valley and next to the other residential neighborhoods

• Our focus was to create opportunities for self-sufficiency through balancing programs like a farmer’s market, utilizing local materials, and access to the communities

• In addition, my main goal was to deal with erosion control, transportation versus pedestrian safety/access, public nodes, and aesthetic beauty through natural vegetation/passive architecture
