For those individuals who have completed a Bachelor’s degree

GPA greater than 3.00 (“B”) in last 60 credit hours (higher entrance standards may be set by individual programs)

Typically 2 years in length

PhD Programs

Normally for those individuals who have completed a Master’s degree

Must provide evidence of English language proficiency prior to admission

GPA greater than 3.33 (“B+”) in last 30 credit hours (higher entrance standards may be set by individual programs)

Requires the completion of a research project culminating in a dissertation

Typically 4 years in length
